pozbaird
Me and Mrs Poz went to this last night in the Usher Hall in Edinburgh... http://www.nfluk.com/photos/photo-gallery/NFL-UK-LIVE-Countdown-to-Kickoff-in-Edinburgh/6a956e01-6271-4352-ad7e-416ea4fa4ec8 Fabulous night. Free entry, well over 1000 NFL fans attended. Brilliant panel of ex-NFL players with three Superbowl rings between them, so these guys were top of the tree players. Great stories, question and answer session with the fans, NFL action on the big screen, a performance from the Jaguars cheerleaders, a live link-up with NFL Network Redzone studio in the States, An NFL shop, photo opps' with the Jaguars cheerleaders and mascot Jaxon DeVille... THAT'S how you do fan PR!

We've been to every Wembley game since 2010, we watch the Sky games every week, we have been over to see Denver v New England, did the Broncos stadium tour twice, toured both the old and new Cowboys stadiums, toured the Louisiana Superdome and Atlanta Falcons stadium. Earlier this year we toured the Seattle Seahawks stadium. Next year we are including a tour of the Arizona Cardinals stadium while across the pond, and although she insists on owning and wearing a Seattle Seahawks T Shirt and in winter a Carolina Panthers hat.... don't think that's grounds for divorce. Although... Zurich Allan!? Edited September 1, 2016 by pozbaird
Guest TPAFKATS
Not as good as the Demaryius Thomas 88 jersey though. Did they have any Kaepernick jerseys?

At the NFL fan roadshow in Edinburgh, Neil Reynolds of Sky Sports cracked some jokes about Kaepernick at the start of the night, then during the fan Q&A part of the show, the panel discussed the issue seriously. Neil Reynolds told the crowd that having met him, Kaepernick is one of his least-favourite NFL players... The inference clearly being Kaepernick was a complete dickhead. He may well be, many sports stars are. What was the view from others on panel and audience re Kaepernick's black lives matter stance? What was the view from others on panel and audience re Kaepernick's black lives matter stance? Actually, the view from the stage mirrored my own. All three panelists were African - American and their view was that while perfectly entitled to his view, all Kaepernick has done is to divert attention away from the real issue, and onto himself and his action in 'disrespecting the anthem and the flag'. The panel said he should have went about things differently, but again, the inference seemed to strongly suggest that Kaepernick is a dick who would revel in him now being the centre of attention, forget about the root cause he is supposedly railing against. Edit: The panel at Edinburgh were: Greg Jennings, Superbowl winner and ten year player with the Packers, Osi Umenyiora, two-time Superbowl winner with the Giants, and Nick Ferguson, five-year player with the Broncos and also played with Rhein Fire in NFL Europe. Really doesn't help anyone, esp himself.Someone (preferably a respected ex pro - where's OJ these days?) needs to take him aside and have a wee word.
