FT 1-1

Fair score. They got the goal from the set piece early on and tried to see it out.

Almost did to be fair. We were utterly abject for the whole game. Could list 13 individual failures, but too lazy.

We got a shiter equaliser from a long throw, but this shouldn't and won't detract from another disastrous day for Alex Rae.

Our next league game is QOTS at home. Rae can win that or f**k off as far as I'm concerned.

1 hour ago, Kemp said:

Yogi Hughes and Big Mixu sitting about doing nothing.  Both would at least try and get the ball down on the deck and play good football.  We have a couple decent players, season could be saved if we have the balls to punt Rae immediately.  The results are bad but this complete lack of tactical awareness is remarkable.  He must go.

Are they both not passed it. :whistle

It's looking like Rae is another Murray - ex OF player who gets jobs on the back of his playing career and not on his ability. Either Largs have no idea what they are doing or Faz was right in his book in that big name players are a shoe in to pass their badges because nothing from Murray or Rae suggests they actually know how to set up teams.

Very very undeserved last minute equaliser that was met with incredibley muted cheers, I have never felt so embarrassed cheering a last minute equaliser. We actually did missed a very decent chance with one of the last attacks of the game but it would have been throughly undeserved had it gone in. The full time whistle was met with a lot of booing. Rae just seem utterly clueless in his tactics, 20 shite one touch passes between Baird to Mallon back to Baird then to Webster who lumps an ball up to the strikers but is 9 times out of 10 easily defended, and then repeat. No plan b what so ever! Ayr who have been shocking so far this season looked very comfortably the better team throughout the game and very harshly conceded a lucky header from us in the 90th minute. Horrible watching so far this season, if Rae doesn't realise or admit that his long ball tactics are not working then we are in for a very long season!

Dear mr Rae l never played football to a high standard but have gleaned over the last fifty years that football is essentially a simple game. Please consider discussing with your players how short passes are more likely to get to our own players, if you over hit a cross don't hit the ball as hard next time, booting the ball back to the opposition usually results in your team being put under pressure, and there is little point in playing two up front if you don't pass or cross the ball to them. Just a thought.
