Bloody he'll have you been drinking ! Everyone following the club wants us to finish as high as we can. Hamilton got  more than double the money we did furnishing the season are you suggesting we can get better quality players than them with a lower budget. You be Tony Fitzpatrick all you want for me staying in the premiership will be success anything else will be an orgasm.  The following year if we survive will be better.

What I am saying is that money is not the core reason why teams do well. For decades, Scots have been blaming money for not being able to compete with Celtic but it's attitude which is the core problem.

If you believe obsessing over financial differences is valid then explain Alloa beating Raith Rovers, Livingston on the verge of beating Partick having already dispatched the combined forces of Dundee Utd, Inverness, Falkirk, Morton all of whom have much bigger budgets. Leicester City beating everyone a couple of seasons ago to win the PL. is a classic example. The success of the Northern Irish and Eire over many years now with the Welsh joining them are other great examples. Sport is full of stories like this and at the core of every success against financial odds is ATTITUDE. Scotland haven't failed to qualify because other teams are stuffed with richer players. That's just a pathetic excuse. We fail because we have shitty attitudes, shitty lifestyles, no belief in ourselves despite our embarassing "gallus swagger" and we never ever bloody well work hard enough at anything. That isn't realism. It's cowardice and laziness.

Budgets are not the issue for next season.

It's attitude. Get the right players and we should be fearing nobody.

I didn't have you down as an Idealist Oaksoft.

Money without attitude is money wasted.

Money with attitude though will win out over time.

But there will be times that this link is broken.

Mostly, these tend to be short-lived exceptions, some of which you mention.

Celtics dominance is down to money. Just about every player in their squad has an international cap. There's nothing wrong with trying to compete and do your best , but when the cards are so heavily stacked against you , you're facing an uphill battle from the start as Motherwell showed today.

You appear to be confusing correlation with causality again.

You patronising tone is a nice touch though.

Celtic's domination is down to attitude.

As another poster said, if Aberdeen hadn't shat themselves against Rangers they could have been Champions.

Actually they dropped plenty of points against teams they dominate financially themselves which also cost them the title.

Attitude is everything.

Livi getting promoted just now as it stands. We really gave to look at Hopkin if Jack leaves. He has what it takes to make a team hard to beat which will be crucial next season.

Absolutely. Two of the Best Managers in Scotland right now.

But.....that can't be right because Partick's budget dwarves that of Livingston and it's all about the finances apparently.
