Hoof Hearted
I would say that with the players he has he is fighting a losing battle. Changes in the squad have to be made as a matter of urgency. Fair play to him on his explanation on taking abuse from the fans. I hope that our fortunes turn round when he does bring in some replacements. It would be a huge catastrophe for this club if we were relegated any lower than we are now. So would you if you were relying on Tony Fitzpatrick to get your targets to sign on the dotted line.
TopCat
So would you if you were relying on Tony Fitzpatrick to get your targets to sign on the dotted line. Indeed. Ross doesn't know what he's doing and neither does Fitzpatrick. That's why we are going down to league 1 for the first time in our history. Dibbles old paperboy
A bit concerned that Jack's own standards are falling. Today's pullover was as poor as his recent substitutions.

All that happens when we pay up contracts is the players getting the money they were due until May / June but we don't have to pay NI / PAYE on that money, so we would need to pay off most senior players by giving them all the money would receive anyway in return for hee haw in order to bring in 1 player on senior pro wages. foxbar_bud
Poor fella, looks like a totally beaten man. Disagree, from that interview he looks angry and let down. He's not resorted to losing the plot in an interview yet like Craig And doesn't look physically ill like Lennon or Murray.

foxbar_bud
Remind me when Lennon lost the plot in an interview. Probably harsh to include Lennon however when under pressure he came out with some strange comments

Hope and faith in Ross and some new blood coming in are all we have.Hope he gets the blend right and galvanises the squad. A couple of strong additions are required but gawd knows who he can attract. Here's hoping and that he gets the required response from the group that remain.
