faraway saint
Phil Taylor, rolling back the years, pumping some guy 3-1, I'm off to sleep, 12:30 here, stoopid 3 hour time difference. faraway saint
Gary Anderson was involved an astounding match earlier. Between him and Chisnall they had 33 "180's", Chisnall hitting an astounding 21 of these. Anderson marches into the semi final against Petr Wright who himself played a superb match, averaging 105. Should be some match, 2 "Scots" in the semi final. Getting ready to watch Van Gerwin romp his semi final and I'm tipping Taylor to overcome Barney. Darts is great TV. Not sure he'll want to be making up the numbers. Retiring now would be for the best. There will never be another player that will dominate darts like he has and who, IMO, has been the major reason darts has been elevated to the major TV sports entertainment attraction it has become. All the very best Phil, sit back and relax.

Buffs
Outstanding darts tonight. MVG and RVB trading blows. Great to watch.
faraway saint
Watched some highlights of both matches from last night. The standard, amazingly, gets better and better. Tonight is the dream final and could go anyway. Hope Anderson wins.
faraway saint
Managed to stay up, wish I hadn't bothered, the Dutchman destroyed Anderson. (7-3) MVG is almost unplayable at times although Anderson's first dart went off the boil after the third set, leaving him a lot to do. Never mind, there's always next year.
