St.Ricky
I know that we have an important cup game to play before we get to focus on this one but, as many keep pointing out, the league is ultimately more important given our position. We shook Falkirk a little when we played them in Paisley but they have a settled squad and an experienced manager. A tough game in prospect but on the other hand this is my "most local" game so far this season as it is for a few other Central Scotland and PerthshIre followers. I would love an away win but would take a draw if offered. Now - Go ahead and complain that I started this thread too early if you wish. Alternatively, give your view on how the game might go. shull
League against the Bairns isn't more important. Lose against Falkirk, there are plenty more League Games to win. Lose against Spartans and we are f*cking out the Cup , albeit Div will be delighted. WE should try 100% to win every competitive Match. Anyway ...... Falkirk 2 St Mirren 3 Crowd 4013 Lee Miller red carded for diving Edited November 21, 2016 by shull
St.Ricky
Shull. I don't to get into semantics but what I said was that many might believe that the league games are more important given our position in the league. I didn't take a view on it - however since you mention it - winning every game is a great idea! That way we would win the cups, win the league, be promoted, win the SPL, win the European Champions League and World Club Championship. Meanwhile back on planet earth - people do balance up which might matter more and are entitled to their opinion. That may come as a shock. But - I do hope you are right in all of your predictions for the game.

I actually blame you for our position................ Falkirk could field their reserves have 3 players sent off and still beat us. We are not very good in case you haven't noticed Falkirk How many they can b bothered scoring Saints Nil
Pepé Le Pew
Falkirk are blowing hot and cold but even if we get them at their coolest will we have enough to bring the points back down the road? I'm not sure we have.
beyond our ken
i was cycling through Larbert last week and got cut up by a driver of a vehicle with a falirk-friendly number plate. TopCat
15 league games without a win going into this match (fifteen).Anyone know what the club record is? Or have we already surpassed it?To give that figure a bit of context, when we got relegated from the Premiership in 14/15 our longest winless streak in that awful season was 8 games. St.Ricky
Back to league business on Saturday against tough opponents. This happens to be the stadium closest to where I live so virtually a home game for me as it is for other Central Belt Saints. One I am looking forward to attending. COYS! Negativity or Reality ?Think we are good for away win next week though 2-1 , thus game on artificial surface I think they'll have too much for us this week.Wouldn't mind your prediction though
