I bet Mallan, Sutton and a good few others would thrive at other teams...... Look at Samson , McGowan, Mcginn- blossomed..... Saints problem s the roots, and the fact that we just don't do consistency If Duffy, Houston and McKinnon were our managers our BOD would have sacked them long ago.... DJ I am not disputing the roots of the problems. That is for another thread. I think you have those points covered there. But boy - would I like still to have Samson, McGowan, McGinn, McLean back playing alongside Mallan and Sutton. Dummet too and maybe Mehmet. We can only build from where we are and create new levels of consistency. But on this thread - a little day dreaming.
shull
McLean isn't that good. Only plays for Aberdeen as they're shite and his limit. John Hewitt was a great midfield player.

Nothing special Ian Ross from the Hendrie's Team was miles ahead of Kenneth. And it disnae make sense to seek attention when I am posting using an alias. zurich_allan
Tesselaar, if he'd come back to our "sh**hole." Mentioning Tesselaar made me also think of Jure Travner - still only 31, and was a very solid defender for us.

How about enjoy some of the players we have at the moment example Stevie Mallon fantastic credit to The Club and scorer of great goals . The other night was great strike but even that was nothing compared to his effort at Coatbridge on a rubbish surface which he took on first time . Free kick at Easter Road ! Whawooo ! if that had been in Premier Leauge v Liverpool ! ! ! Seen a rerun of recent interview on ALBA which which just confirmed he's on the correct Road to the top . His Old Man doing a terrific job with him and he came accross really well also . ZERO chance of young Stevie getting carried away The Club should encourage Stevie Snr to talk to other players parents in how to keep their kids feet on ground and work their A*** off . Why is he never mentioned in Full Scotland Squad ? DON'T tell me cause in a struggling Scottish Championship Team . He'd do far more than MOST of the present squad . Where is Strachan's scouts ? players I'd like to return don't play now but I'll give you some names : Tony Fitzpatrick , Peter Kane , (better than Harry ) , Jim Thorburn , Hugh Gilshan ( just for his goal v gers at love street in 1 0 win . dr rotund
Interesting thread but while i like to reminisce sometimes i prefer not to live in the past. We need new Yardley, Lavety and Murrays to become new heroes.
