You're still trying too hard to cover SMISAs failings with this shite.

Its called twisting things around Stuart ..... i thought you of all people would have recognised the tactic !!

ETA : Apart from the despicable Cretin bit. I stand by that and firmly believe it to be the case.

SMiSA sponsor the Panda club which is a great help to parents, they have also given  money to the foodbank so as not to interfere with the FC effort , but not shouting about it

Everything costs money and future spend from the 2 pound spend could go to community projects so spell it out where you want it spent by contacting the group instead of mouthing off ,  but remember,  you are only one of 1300 and a minor one when it comes to real opinion

Dunno what Cockles is saying. Is he being as boring as usual? Or has he threatened to come "meet" me somewhere before bottling it and failing to turn up citing some mythical advice about how meeting me would be bad for his career prospects.....

Callums more like a pet poodle. He's a bit yappy, but he'll run out of energy soon.

The SMiSA committee however are nothing but cheap con men, who have failed to live up to their pledge of putting the club at the heart of the community and have failed to put on anything that has benefited the community. They don't publish the minutes of their meetings, they don't publish the agendas of their meetings, they take executive decisions over what proposals can be put on the ballot paper every three months, and they attempted to manipulate the director election by insisting that any candidate must have accountancy or project management skills. They even hide away the constitution behind a single word link on a page on their website - and no wonder they hide it too when they have 13 committee members when the constitution says there should be no more than 12. Even more dubious is this action of co-opting members onto the committee without any explanation to the membership. Were those members co-opted on to influence the outcome of a vote, or were they co-opted on to take on specialist roles that we're being undertaken by any of the other committee members - like community initiatives?

To think the membership entrust this lot to look after their money - especially when the committee itself takes the executive decision to grant an interest free loan to a £multi million business without checking with the membership if this is acceptable.

Did it already, six months and three months ago. Six months ago I was sent two e-mails thanking me and telling me to wait for them to contact me. Three months ago my proposal was completely ignored and left off the ballot paper - no explanation, no contact, nothing.

It's not just me either. Where was the option of putting the funding towards the shelters that have been proposed? What other proposals have been completely ignored by the committee?

I agree, I think it's time to ignore this complete tool of a man. No idea what he's on about now. The disabled platform does not benefit the community at all? Is he actually being serious? SMISA funded project to enhance the experience of some of our most vulnerable supporters. Is it not community work because SMISA don't fund them to come in for free?

Maybe if we all ignore his bile he'll go away.

As I said in what way does it benefit the people of Paisley?

It's a stadium enhancement. One that was long overdue. But just because it's for wheelchair users and their carers does not make it a community project.

You've snookered yourself there Dicko. The viewing area is an excellent example of the community getting together and regenerating itself. Football fans making sure that all football fans have equal opportunity, access and facilities. And ensuring that those benefitting been seen first and last as football fans.

Children, Children! Family squabbles are not uncommon but this thread must take the biscuit!

While the patient is seriously ill, this family of so-called St Mirren fans, take their eye off the ball and forget that what they have to unite them is so much greater than what divides them.

Merry Christmas everyone and COYS!!!

So let me summarise. Dicko deliberately joined the fund knowing full well he intended to eventually quit after a few months and that when he did he would get to bitch loudly about everyone associated with SMISA and the club with "justification" as he saw it. Essentially the man has knowingly and intentionally wasted around £100 just to have a moan on a football forum amongst a handful of people who couldn't gather a single f**k between them to give him in return.

What an absolute waste of f**king space.

Speak for yourself. The only dissenting voices here are a person who is not a Saints fan and another guy shull who appears to be having some form of meltdown.

I think the rest of us are in fine fettle and looking forward to tomorrow's game.

Pleased to hear it.

However this thread has been given 4 times as much comment as the one on tomorrow's game which is critical to our survival.

To be honest, you, and a few others, have just made this up.

The second bit is also a bit foolish as he's had plenty who seem to give a single f**k, looking at the angst that is posted against him.

This thread is beginning to look like many of the threads in General Nonsense. :1eye

Ah Dicko, Dicko, you were ALWAYS going to cancel your direct debit.

Going for the £25 option allowed you to blow smoke up your own arse about your committment to the club. It allowed you to feel justified in making very public attempts at trying to control the agenda. This was a no lose for you. You knew that if people at the club listened to you that you could claim to have influence. If they ignored you, you could through a strop, cancel your direct debit and get attention that way. Now the problem is that, like shull, you have lost the right to have a voice over what SMISA now do.

Yeah I probably was Oaksoft. After all I'd seen close up how other ISA's had handled their buyouts. I'd seen great practice at Swansea where a superb leader was made Chairman, who published his business plan, and who appointed an excellent rookie football manager to devise a long term footballing blueprint to get them from the fourth tier of the English game to the Premiership. I'd watched on as Ann Budge took over at Hears, created a business plan, published it, and appointed a director of football who created a blueprint to get Hearts back to the top end of the top flight in Scottish Football from having just been relegated to a strong second tier that included Hibs and Rangers as well as many of the teams still sitting ahead of St Mirren. I'd even watched on as Clyde resolved their long term debts, published their business plan, and..... well nah they f**ked up with the manager and the blueprint, but I'm sure they'll get that sorted one day.

I expected much of the same at St Mirren. Working with the community for mutual benefit. Putting in place a sensible long term business plan. Openness and honesty from those leading the fan buyout, and a great deal of excitement as those members not only saw progress on a footballing front, but also off the park where customers and the local community finally became more important than how good the spread is at half time in the football boardroom. I'd forgotten that this is St Mirren, where fans and employees fight against each other just so they can claim their own wee fiefdom. I was always going to be left disappointed and frustrated wasn't I Oaksoft?
