The latest British starlet, Jubb, playing some decent stuff, despite getting pumped 6-0 in the first set.

Good experience, although that's the usual story trotted out for young British players.

Only good of he turns out to be decent.

Latest news is Murray makes his appearance on Thursday in the mens doubles.

Still eagerly awaiting to see if he announces the mixed doubles with Serena, that would be a blockbuster.

Oh, on Thursday Kyrgios plays Nadal.

He had another explosive match today.

That'll be interesting. :thumbs2

The young lad Jubb, only 19, wins the 3rd set on an enthralling tie break to take it into a 4th set at 2-1 down.

Brilliant stuff young man.

Just seen some highlights from the Tomic v Tsonga match

Even shull will have even difficulty making out who put more effort into a game, David Elliot or Bernard Tomic. emoji54.png

The thing is, it’s been known for years that Tomic doesn’t give a damn. It’s often been said his childhood was pretty brutal as his father drummed tennis into him, and performances like this are his “revenge”.

It’s a shame as he did have the potential to be very successful, but thanks to his childhood he absolutely despises the sport so it’s not surprising to see him play like this. He does enough to make an easy living from the sport, but he won’t bother doing any more than that. I think days like this are specifically aimed at his father, and his hate and disdain means he doesn’t give a damn about putting in a performance for the fans or anyone else. It’s a very sad story.

The unfortunate thing is that it's more than likely the British contingent will all be out before the start of week two.

It's shameful there's been little improvement after Murray raising the profile over the last umpteen years.

Other countries produce a top 20/10 player without a player of Murrays class, the current top British man is 31 with the next at 49.

The womens game is worse, Konta, after a excellent French open, is at 18 with the next highest rank Heather "Out in round 2" Watson at 122.

Despite Judy Murray trying very hard to get grass roots tennis off the ground there's nothing showing at the professional level.

Aye, she's consistent. :byebye

If there's one match, or part of a match, you can watch catch this today.

Probably some time after 4:30, guaranteed quality and drama.

Nadal to win in 4 sets. 11/4.

Earlier, around 1:00pm Cameron Norrie, Scottish, could beat Nishikori and could make somebody some money as he's 9/2.

Aye, that went well.

Pumped 3-0, and hopeless into the bargain. 🤣

Who'd have thunk it? :clapping

Just over 3 hours of quality tennis and, as EAB posted above, an audacious under arm serve from Kyrgios was pure entertainment.

I'm exhausted.

Sorry for anyone watching it on the red button but it's on a 20 minute delay. emoji14.png

I'm multi tasking, watching the Kids Voice, which is utter shite, and flicking back to the tennis, just caught the end, comfortable win for the dream team. :booty

Quite amusing with the BBC still mentioning that Murray won the doubles event at Queens yet barely mention he tumbled out in the first match at the next tournament.

Also yesterdays defeat in the mens is hardly worth a mention compared to his win with Williams.

Anyhow, next up for the dream team is the 14th seeds.

Proving to be a scheduling problem for Wimbledon to try to get them on the centre court or court 1 to meet demand.
