Expensive defeat v Cowdenbeath in December '71. We lost Andy McFadden with a bad injury in the first minute and lost a goal straight away and didn't recover . Cammy Murray , Dave  Millar , Dan Stevenson, Gordon McQueen , Billy McDerment for us and Dave Cairns and Billy Mullen for Cowden !

Is that not Tony Connell behind big McQueen?

Spot the famous two players in the Spiders team.

One scored many goals for us .

The other created the legendary Furies in the mid 1970s at Love Street.

Think I can see five in total both teams Bobby Pinkerton, Alex Ferguson, Peter Kane, Dougie Imrie and Thierry Small

Anyone else remember going up to Inverness the week after we won the league in 2000?

We took about 10 buses got humped 5-0 and still went on the pitch to celebrate

after.

I lifted a couple of my cousins over the wall to get in for feck all.

Great being on the pitch and listening to Tom's magical speech.

A wonderful day.

Sadly, Duncan passed away a few years ago 😢

Sad to learn that, the wee chap was a real diehard. Thanks for the update.

I'm sure I saw him wearing a kilt at a game. He looked as if he'd snuck away from a wedding to watch the Saints.
