shull
I was there in 1972. We won 2-1. Highlights on TV. Around 9000 at the Match. Unfortunately we missed out on Promotion. Edited July 10, 2018 by shull

billyg
Spoiler That game/season still sticks in my craw , more than any other season. We had a great team , we were , by some distance , the best team in the league . Another couple of points would have done it for us , but we had a poor run after TB , for some reason , dropped Danny Stevenson and introduced Jim Gilmour in goals, and we lost twice to the 'Shire , a big bogey team for us in those days ! shull
The Shire were a cnut. I was there when they knocked us out the Scottish Cup 2-1 in 1975. Wasn't even the 3rd Round. Second Round tie before the big Teams came in a Round later. Fergie had been our Manager for a few months.
