Drew
Deadweight who was well down the pecking order. I initially thought he might offer something with his pace and direct approach, but his ball control was so lacking that it negated any positives in his overall play. Did score the odd goal, though, and always seemed more of a goal threat than the likes of Clarkson. Edited January 13, 2017 by Drew
santo
good idea to let our relegation rivals take our player?

I tried for several minutes to come up with a tarmac/asphalt/road surface related pun...couldn't cobble one together. div
Offered absolutely nothing to us this season so another few quid off the wage bill. Wish him well at Dumbarton but genuinely not sorry to see him go. Next up, Clarkson surely!

David Mc
I'll raise you Webster.
Dan Is The Man
Feel for Gallagher. 8 goals from a wide position is nothing to sniff at considering how bad we were last season. Works hard and tracks back but for some reason was given next to zero game time this year. The manager clearly doesn't rate him so suppose it's best that he moves on. He isn't very good but he wouldn't have been top of the list of players I'd be trying to hawk out. Granted he'd have been on the list but there's at least 3 or 4 I'd have pushed ahead of him. MotherwellSaint
surely Webster and Clarkson and Langfield be next to go if can get replacements in.

doonhamer
No he wasn't great player but certainly no worse than at least one striker we still have on our books. Don't think he was given a fair crack of the whip and wish him well.
TopCat
He was one corner of the triangle of duddery that played a huge part in costing Rae his job. Shankland and Clarkson were the other two.None of those should have been re-signed, all three were.Credit to Ross for getting rid of them. Two down, one to go. Stu
Probably their replacement for Todd. Shuffling the deckchairs stuff from both clubs.

Seemed a nice lad but was pretty shit for a player who was always on the front foot..
santaponsasaint
3 in already does this mean further new signings this transfer window. I liked Gal last season. But this season his effort and work rate was poor. after his injury in Kirkcaldy he never looked interested. but good luck to him. but not against us. FTOF
A player who scored a few goals last season whilst being pretty shit otherwise. Wasn't particularly enamoured when he re-signed in June, so not bothered now that he's left us. Maybe if he's played as an out and out striker for Dumbarton he might get better, but hopefully not. St.Ricky
Good luck to the lad. He always tried his best is my take. I appreciate that whilst acknowledging his limitations. Maybe he will prove to be a winner with Dumbarton.

gc_SMFC
I'd have kept him. His goals last season were vital in keeping us up. Injuries and poor management hindered him this season. Offered a lot more than most of the players we've seen come into the club in the last couple of years.
