Am with TC on this one,, all our better performances have been since young Kyle Magennis was introduced to the team,, a fit Kyle would be the first name on my team sheet, the lad gives the team a much better balance, best prospect we have in my eyes, including the one that's just left,

Think Magennis is a great player, but I don't think he should be expected to play in every game. Falkirk are a hard physical side and not sure that would have done any better in the middle that Storrie and Mallan,

Personally, I'd have played him wide on the right with Morgan on the left with Smith on the bench.

Don't understand why we changed from 4-5-1 to 4-4-2. Lost the midfield by doing that.

Ideally I'd like to see a midfield of Morgan, McGinn, Storie, Macgennis, Smith.

Whatever is on the table for Mallan take it.

Play some proper f'king full backs. Hopefully McKenzie's injury isn't too bad.

We lost the bl**dy game after 5 minutes. That was, last 15 minutes apart, SHAMBOLIC. No heart.. No fight.. No determination. We stood off when they had the ball. We didn't have any movement when we had the ball.. We didn't appear to be able to pass the ball to one of our own. As bad, if not worse, than anything witnessed this season. We can go on about the first goal as much as we like but they could have had at least another two in that first half. If that's as good as it gets then we are truly F*cked.

Jesus, the oracle speaks once again.
It's a St Mirren supporters forum mate, we are perfectly aware of Falkirk's form.

Despite their form, they're only 6 points off 2nd, which suggests they've been pretty good for far longer than they were struggling for form

We have made big changes to the team. Anyone who expected is to hit the ground flying was being a bit optimistic. Still time for new players to make a difference.

TBH, there was a ridiculous amount of false optimism kicking about this week based on the number of players on the move.

Bulk signing of players disnae mean we've got a better team on the park.

Down to earth with a bump.

Signing better players does. The keeper is better, McGinn is a class act, Loy is an improvement. Others can make a difference too. Just because they didn't do it immediately doesn't mean they're not an improvement.

The keeper look a bag of nerves in the opening spell. Couldn't hold the ball and probably should have cost us a second goal when he dropped an easy catch right in front of the Falkirk striker.. Hopefully just a case of first home game nerves.

Initially, maybe, but should be too to speed before too long, fitness-wise.

Morton are doing us a massive favour at the moment. Today was dire apart from the last 10 minutes. We have to beat Dumbarton next week and hope Ayr lose, if that happens then we set up a cracker down at Ayr on the 25th February. Falkirk are up the top end of the table so fair enough a result today would have been a massive bonus but Dumbarton and Ayr are the teams we must beat.
