Buffs
Kilmarnock have apparently accepted a bid in the region of £1m for him. f**k me! The transfer window is mad.. He has had a decent 6 months in a shit team who make him look good.. Granted, he has scored a couple of cracking goals but a million pounds? Meanwhile St Mirren will be lucky to get £150 000 for a player with the ability and potential of Steven Mallan. Mental.
linwood buddie
Good luck to them , with the exception of Septic no other club can really knock that kind of dosh back.

djchapsticks
To be fair, Coulibaly has been in the spotlight as a potential world superstar since he was 17 (yes, really!) and broke all sorts of records at the U17 World Cup, being called the New Drogba by some sections of the media. That potential has never really came to fruition though and only now at 22 is he finally showing some promise. Clearly, he'll never be of the level that Drogba was but it's safe to say he's both better known globally and a brighter prospect than Stevie Mallan and will go on to carve out a decent career for himself. Buffs
If he is that good why did he end up at Kilmarnock and now going to the Egyptian league?Nobody else in Europe fancies him.
Edinbuddie
A feather in the cap of Lee Clark who has managed to find a diamond amongst the 25 odd young, English lower league players he's brought in to Kilmarnock. God knows how many more he'll sign if he's given some of the money!?
Ayrshire Saints
Falkirk quoted today as having slapped at 750k price tag on a young full back with 7 1st team appearances yet our youngsters will be allowed to leave for comparative peanuts. What Falkirk say they'll accept and what they will actually accept may be very different. As has been mentioned before what English clubs are buying is potential so McAllister who's just turned 18 and has less than 20 first team appearances is likely to sell for more than Mallen who's approaching 21 with nearly 100 appearances. That's the crazy world of football!
DougJamie
Well done Lee Clark............ Now what will Killie do with that kind of money.......... hmmmmmm Their BOD makes are our old look fantastic...........
DougJamie
Southend sold a 13 yr old to Man City for 250k moving to 6 m with youth and development appearances...... Mallan is worth what the market will pay, fact is he was probably worth 1m after THAT goal against Dundee. Its all about timing

Falkirk at least give the public impression they will not be selling on the cheap.

The Egyptian team he's going to are a rich club who is based in Cairo a city with 8 million compared to Kilmarnock's 160.000 plus big Marvin. kevo_smfc
Killie have done very well here. Remember they also scored big on Connor Sammons move down south, think it was £1m. A player who i thought was severely overrated.
TediousTom
One must wonder. If this big chap is worth £1 million then how much must Kyle Hutton be worth? I think the "Hutz" value has just soared to £18.72 plus VAT (including his football boots)

So that's kind of answered ur question- It was a view point not a fact Worth a million to who? Certainly wasn't to any of the hundreds of clubs who could have paid that for him, else they would have. You can't just pluck a figure out the air and say he was probably worth that then.
