bazil85
So my understanding is no player can play for three different clubs a season in Scotland in the league. Nade has played 6 times for Stranraer, 3 times for Annan (all be it as a trialist) and now 5 times for Dumbarton, all games were league games. Can anyone shine any light on how this is allowed? I've been all over SFA and FIFA rules and can't find anyone saying this doesn't apply to trialists. It clearly says players can register for three clubs but can only play for two. The quote from players union below... Only fair course of action is 3-0 walkovers in all games he's played in Maximum 2 clubs per season: players should remain aware that FIFA regulations dictate that they cannot play for more than two clubs in one season. In fact on FIFA official rules the only exemption is if clubs seasons overlap.
bazil85
Annan doubled their lead in the 61st minute after they were awarded a free kick when Nade was taken out by a poor Brett challenge who was booked Quote from one of Annan's games in December

I've seen some articles where FIFA have challenged English clubs on similar for not counting emergency loans as playing for clubs. I haven't found anything on trialists though apart from they need to be registered so to me that suggests it falls under the three clubs registered two club appearing for per season rule. chalky1
I thought you could only sign for two clubs per calendar year, He has signed for Three, but didn't play again for Dumbarton until 2017, as mentioned I think we are just clutching at straws

saint in exile
I don't know if they broke the rules or not. However, if they have, they should be punished, preferably a points deduction. After all, if it were us, you know what would happen. Clutching at straws, perhaps, but we need all the help we can get.
