Christian Nade, not eligible to play?

So my understanding is no player can play for three different clubs a season in Scotland in the league.  Nade has played 6 times for Stranraer, 3 times for Annan (all be it as a trialist) and now 5 times for Dumbarton, all games were league games.  Can anyone shine any light on how this is allowed?  I've been all over SFA and FIFA rules and can't find anyone saying this doesn't apply to trialists.  It clearly says players can register for three clubs but can only play for two.  The quote from players union below... Only fair course of action is 3-0 walkovers in all games he's played in :P

Maximum 2 clubs per season: players should remain aware that FIFA regulations dictate that they cannot play for more than two clubs in one season.

When did he play for Annan mate, don't see him listed anywhere?

he played three times in December apparently, all be it as a trialist but there is no mention that trialists are exempt.  In fact on FIFA official rules the only exemption is if clubs seasons overlap.

Speaking on Nade’s appearance, Chapman said: “It was good having him on the park. He gave us a different dimension to our play and held it up well.

yeah looks pretty clear he did play.  I've seen some articles where FIFA have challenged English clubs on similar for not counting emergency loans as playing for clubs.  I haven't found anything on trialists though apart from they need to be registered so to me that suggests it falls under the three clubs registered two club appearing for per season rule.

We need Dickson to take this up with the FCA / Supporters Direct / Citizens Advice Bureau / DVLA Swansea.

£500 whip round anyone?

Hahaha I was going to dump it in the sin bin but I thought it would be a bit like throwing myself into a piranha filled water tank!

Yes! But I would still like it clarified why he's allowed to play.

And you are absoliutely right to ask.  This is a football forum after all and you raise an interesting point regarding football.
