Seaside Nipper
And we were only a baw hair away from making it 2 - 0. Ah well, that's football. Yup, big game turning point, the underside of the bar for 2-0 , now it's just a shagging.
pozbaird
No shame. For 45 minutes we did far better against them than anyone in the top flight has managed. If the Dembele sliced clearance goes in, who knows? If Mallan doesn't fanny around and give the ball away leading to Stelios booking and their first, who knows? Great first half, great payday, pride intact, we move on.
No Ninjas
f**k, that looked a sore one on Stelly.

TopCat
FT 4-1Oh well, was always going to be a long second half. We had a couple of decent chances to make it 0-2 early on, managed to hit the underside of the bar too. When we didn't take any of them you could sense what was coming. For what it's worth I thought our left side was excellent again. Morgan never stopped going at them and Stelios is my new man crush. We've avoided embarrassment and - unless McKenzie has picked up another one - looked to have avoided injury. Could have been far worse.Celtic will most likely win the treble... and it's back to the relegation battle and irn bru cup for us.
Julian Banjos
The one off the underside of the crossbar at 0-1..... Anyway, I think the team can only take confidence from that display. Yes, well-beaten in the end but didn't just go and sit in, played our normal game and gained plenty of plaudits. Keep up that level of performance and we'll win more than we lose in the next couple of months, starting on Wednesday.

saint in exile
First half performance was excellent. Ultimately our own mistakes cost us. Mallan needs his arse kicked, and the inexperience of Morgan and Magennis told in the end. However, we can take a lot of heart from the overall display. Sonny
Score-line was possibly what most expected but we can be proud of the first half display which was excellent. Better display at Parkhead than most Premiership teams this season. Thanks for the dosh. Now for the BIG game on Wednesday. Kendo
We had really good chances to score a second. We didn't sit in to keep the score down. We tried to win the game, well done all round.
pozbaird
Neil McCann laying into Mallan for his lazy pass leading to their equaliser. Bang on, looks even worse seeing it a second time. He was wide open with team mates bombing forward... pah. Still an excellent overall team effort.
Ethan
We can be proud of our first half performance. Ultimately the fitness and class of player paid off in the end. Glad to get this out of the way. Onwards to Raithby and hopefully 3 points.
Balmullo Bud
Well done Saints. Take their dosh, move on(hopefully with no injuries) and back to the real football against Raith. COYS!
Buffs
Great effort today. Did themselves proud. Celtic are miles ahead of every team in Scotland. If only Dembele had his shooting boots on we could have been 2 up.
stlucifer
Great fighting performance from us. No shame in losing and, if the one off the bar goes in or we had a bit more composure we could have had a shock. They didn't know what to do until they got that free kick. 2 minutes in the second half killed us, We gave as good as we got for a lot of the game. Liverpool Bud
Enjoyed watching this from the Sofa - thought the team showed some real quality - had our chances but believe we should have enough to begin to climb the league

Sonny
Rodgers has just said on Radio Scotland that St Mirren were the best team that Celtic had played against domestically this season. Praise indeed!
spoogy1
Believe we are the only team this season to have went to the tattie bowl and attack them in first half believe it shocked them at first but as a few have said it was always going to be along second half but the boys played brilliant. The score doesn't do the justice played better than what the scoreline was
