I'm not a big fan of the FA cup, too many "big teams" don't take it seriously but as I enjoy watching Brighton (this season anyway) I'll tune into their match against minnows Grimsby today, KO 2:15 :thumbs2

Between having a much needed nap and tuning into the Arsenal game I forgot all about Brighton v Grimsby.

2-0, 56 mins.

Brighton 3-0 Grimsby, the young lad Ferguson smacks it home.

Brighton have a strong midfield, they cause most teams all sorts of problems.

That'll be them into the semi final.

70 mins.

Italy 0-1 England, good start by England.

Rice batters it in after an effort from Kane from the corner.

Italy 0-2 England,

Handball, penalty, slotted away by Kane, stands up after his blunder at the world cup.

He's now the top scorer for England of all time, what a player.

44 mins.

Hamilton one up on Raith a t half time in Challenge Cup. Hamilton the better side although lost two players to injury in first 20 minutes. Forgot Isma was playing at Raith. Think he has seen better days. Alba commentary  now has English bits which make it easier to follow.

Thought we were in for a repeat of the 1-0 home loss in 96 when we blew the title. Battered them 1st half without success then Cantona popped up with a 2nd half winner. The rest is history. Thankfully I was wrong today.

A similar thought crossed my mind after the first half where you battered them 0-0 as United are a pretty decent team this season.

United never really looked overly threatening and the goal lifted the team and crowd.

A well deserved win on the day.
