And some dimwits were questioning Kane as he hadn't scored in the first two games. 😂

He didn't just "not score" he was almost invisible, and was rightly questioned. Even a complete oaf could see that he was honking.

However, like most high quality strikers, he thrives on confidence.

No supply, no goals, any oaf could see that. 😉

Form is temporary, class is etc. 😛

Half time 0-1, games a bit hot/cold.
TBH England have been patchy throughout, not losing goals has been the main strength.
Next goals critical.
I have to agree, they are a bit nowty at the minute, with the talent they have Southgate could be a bit braver and this could be all over by now.

Something missing, as you say, on paper, tons of talent, need a Gazza.

You can't argue with the football, England have played well when it counted.

However, don't completely write off Denmark and also Italy on form should make
the final, they are a much more skilful side.
The worry is all but one of their games at home, their side of the draw not going to plan and even Spinazzola getting injured gives me the fear!

All over 4 nil to England, a professional performance putting away a poor opposition.
The opposition was poor because of how well England played.

All this shoite about an easy route is just horse manure.

They have risen to every challenge and are growing by the game...

England to pip Spain in the final... and I don't grudge them the victory either.

Great team.

There's no doubt they are growing into the tournament, Southgate deserves credit for making changes in every game to outdo the opposition.

They have one of the best squads but there's plenty of teams that look good on paper and fail miserably.

They are in the "easier" side of the draw but, the Scotland game apart, they have never really looked like losing.

The next game is a real test, the Danes have had a similar tournament, slow/poor start but got better every game.

As for the other side of the draw, Italy look the complete team to me.

It's been a great tournament, the majority of games have been decent or better.

Roll on Tuesday and Wednesday.

While I agree with much of what you say, the fact that Shevchenko set his team up not to lose initially surrendered the impetus to England and in my opinion that is poor, how many times have we seen the same happen watching Saints?
England have beaten everyone put in front of them except Scotland so yes you must give the manager and team the credit for that but like The Rangers beating everyone in the league doesn't mean they will win the Champions League.
Other than us I don't really think anyone has really had a go at England and that is no doubt due to the way the manager has set the team up but it has been like watching George Graham's boring boring Arsenal at times, putting all nationalistic feelings aside I'd much rather watch Italy than England from an entertainment point of view.
