guinness
Watching both Ireland's recently and the way they play would not particularly want either O'Neill in charge of Scotland.

I watch him quite a lot, on his game, class, but not consistent, like the first leg in this tie. Both the Irish teams and Scotland have nothing like him in their squads. Wales have Bale. England have a few half decent players who can turn a game. Down here in England it was pointed out, by a Man City fan, the glory days on Scottish players featuring in most of the best teams in England have gone. Sadly true. Who was the last player we had that could feature or star in a top side?

faraway saint
So, the euphoria of the British teams (And Eire) , except Scotland, qualifying for the Euro's has disappeared. A massive lack in quality resulting in, not only not qualifying but dreary, drab performances. Looks like British teams (except England) can resign themselves to more years in football oblivion.
