Jeezo, what a way to go out.

75 minutes of safety first football and players can't pass to their own team.

The commentators seem to have missed Hanley's effort on goal, brilliant.

A poor way to go out, safety first for too long.

Looked likely to score i the last 10-15 but didn't.

2 goals in 3 games, another tournament we didn't win a game, so, so disappointing.

For too long we've relied on a striker who has scored once in 13 outings for Scotland.

It was only when we played with some forwards that we came into the game.

And come to think of it, that was 4 ex St M irren players on the park tonight.

Yes - Steve Clarke must shoulder some of the blame for his team selections and formations

In a game you must win to have no shots on goal was exceptionally poor.

Didn't Hanley force a save from the goalie?

Just watching the penalty incident, a pen all day long.

Did we deserve it, probably not but it's a penalty.

When you're not playing well you get nothing.

In reality we didn't even score any goals either - the opposition obliged in that regard.

No doubt but they scored and hit the post AFTER we made these substitutions.

Ach, we can bang it about all night, it was poor all round.

Out with a whimper is sore.

FFS, so goals don't count, even although McTominays was  a goal?

I love how we, Scottish people, love to make it as bad as possible.

It's like watching Gus McPherson's St Mirren , don't risk anything and see what happens , works occasionally but usually doesn't !

I'd agree with that on the 3 games we played.

Not one player turned up in the first game, reasonable, but not brilliant, in the 2nd game and far too safe for most of the game tonight when we had to win.

No point whining about the penalty we didn't get, as you know when you don't play well you usually get nothing.

Going out is sore, we shot ourselves in the foot which is even worse as the Swiss and Hungary are no great shakes.

It was only when we changed formation and personnel that we threatened and looked like scoring - for the very first time in the tournament.

Hungary on the other hand theatened to score on a number of occasions throughout the game.

I made the point earlier that there were 4 ex St Mirren players taking part tonight but forgot to mention Steve Clarke the manager.

I felt his selections, formations and tactics were too negative.

f**king manager should be sacked for this utter pish Morgan. Forest. And Shankland should be on that park.

I actually agree with you here. I think they start to bring on fresh legs in a must win game.  Players that started the last two games likely to make more impact in last half hour as Hungary tire.

Morgan looked sharp when on pitch and Shankland needed at least 70 minutes. Why not start the top scorer in the squad.  I get hacked off with this view of a strikers hold up play, a striker scores goals midfielders hold the ball up.

I'm not denying they had chances but most were AFTER we went for it, which we should have.

NO mention of the penalty we should have had which, we probably didn't deserve?

And I agree we were far to safe, wasted the whole first half.

You agree Clarke should be sacked?

He DID bring on fresh legs.

The bigger problem, IMO,  was the very safe first half, we seemed quite happy to be Back Pass United.

As for Shankland, Harry Kane wouldn't have scored in the first 80 minutes or so as we rarely provided any opportunities.

That's why Forrest Shankland and Morgan should have started instead he went with the same shite tactics a game we had to win and he f**ked it up big time waiting for the last 10 minutes to put on 2 of them was f**king mental .

Got what we deserved tonight, absolutely nothing. A bitterly disappointing tournament for us, out with a whimper.

Some good players in that first 11, but also players that are just nowhere near the required level. Hopefully a goalkeeper, centre backs & strikers coming through the ranks for the next try.

And when they came on we lost a goal.

I'm well aware it's not a simple as that, although that won't compute in your simple mind.

We were too safe for too long, no doubt, but we did go for it too late and in that period they hit the post and scored.

Our players played poorly, the amount of misplaced passes, especially from Robertson, were another major reason to our poor performance.

Nice to see you appear as you were, as predicted, invisible after the Swiss game, which is your normal in St Mirren games. (post more when we lose) :byebye

So, to summarise, almost a whole new team?

You will just argue & antagonise anything won’t you? As I’ve told you before, you don’t get to decide how people do & don’t use this website.

Well no, unless you don’t understand the several positions I left out. 🤷‍♂️
