Guest TPAFKATS
I went to a Hungarian top flight game last season. Ujpest against videoton who were top of the league at the time. Quality was dross so I'd expect a Scottish win. The prices were great though shull, about a tenner. If only my betting was this accurate

Still, almost £33 a game isn't cheap, unless your Ricky.

Charlotte Saint
25 minutes in 0-0. Scotland the better side so far but that’s not really saying much.

Charlotte Saint
HT 1-0 Bit of a nothing game Peru going through the motions, Scotland trying hard but can’t keep the ball for more than a couple of passes. Rush of blood from the goalkeeper results in the penalty for Peru that separates the teams.

Was the only real highlight for Scotland but hes a bit too predictable at that level. After his first run the Peru players quickly got to grips with his style and dealt with him. That's what I've been telling anyone who has asked my opinion. The progress hes made in the last three seasons has been incredible which is probably testiment to the lads attitude more than anything else. His view was that at the time he was there it was his not too strong work ethic that was getting in the way of progress. Not now. The boy put his head down, listens, learns and works. Fair play to him. There's a few stories of players needing a rejection to spur them on. Andy Robertson tells his story about how he was rejected at Celtic, was picked up by Queens Park and was ready to give up altogether just before it all fell into place for him too. Fair play to them both because the Academy system we have in Scotland is designed to inflate egos before bursting the balloon in often the most callous manner possible and with little concern for the wreckage they are causing. He said one of the key things he looked for when looking to bring players into the youth academy was the attitude. He complimented Lewis on his effort to develop himself and the willingness to progress, and one of the reasons he brought Lewis into St Mirren was because he seen that desire in him. Reaping he rewards now, he deserves the success he's had so far, he's earned it.

Mexico zipped the ball around very quickly in the early part of the game and remained the better side throughout. We did well to keep the score down. Goalkeepers played well, I thought.
