alanb
Will this £500 mean the next vote will be on how/what we spend £2500 or are we minted and rolling in it.
alanb
Will this £500 mean the next vote will be on how/what we spend £2500 or are we minted and rolling in it.Voted for the donation Also what can be done to get more members interested enough to actually vote as only 800 odd could be bothered
shull
The Masses Are Asses The £3000 should remain in the Bank. St Mirren Football Club could easily fund any option. They spend more on weekly wages for a couple of players who give nothing back presently. Wasting plenty money on a Sports Scientist.

It's in the email, it's coming out of an excess pot, not the actual spend.

Stu
Delighted to see the nonsense of hand dryers get sod all support. Hopefully that'll make the club think twice about such ridiculous suggestions - although they're probably quite happy as they got the goalposts which was no doubt what they most wanted. They got £3000 for yet another set of goalposts, plus the £5000 they get every quarter,( sorry we pay ourselves back, after giving the club £50000 to buy a third of a plastic pitch they say they could afford anyway, from the fund that was ringfenced, to buy the controlling interest in the company we gave £50000 to..! they call this something very specific in the city! A lot of your stuff is just moaning. But this is truly pathetic, you should be genuinely ashamed of yourself. ‘We have £500 spare to help some of the most vulnerable in society on Christmas Day. We know it’s not the exact process and it wasn’t the popular vote, but given the vote was so close, what does everyone think? Don’t like it can still vote no’ LPM ‘this is shocking SMISA trying to help this community project because it’s not the current process. We should not make any further attempt to help these vulnerable members of our community’ Your hatred for SMFC & SMISA clouds your judgement so much, you don’t care if it gets in the way of a very good cause. Terrible human being, never again pretend you care about the community. Mask has slipped.

SMISA should be concentrating on amassing a Rainy Day Fund for when the time comes when it is badly needed. That day will come, that is a certainty. It’s not what people are voting for though. My comment is about LPM shamefully being against helping vulnerable people in the community. Whether you think the club or SMISA should pay for that, I don’t think is relevant.
shull
A bucket collection at any home match could raise money for a Christmas Dinner. Crowdfunding also.

Stevie88
A bucket collection at any home match could raise money for a Christmas Dinner. Crowdfunding also. A very good idea as I’m sure folk out with SMISA would happily donate a few quid for the Christmas meals. I for one am glad SMISA have donated £500 towards the cause.
