Bud the Baker
Tories pick up the Sevco vote, the big question is did they sing The Sash? The Tories are the ultimate hypocrites, they're still "The Nasty Party" perhaps even more so playing jingoistic constitutional politics at a UK level, basing the whole of their Scottish Council Election campaign on the "no to IndyRef2" issue yet criticizing the SNP for being obsessed with the constitution. At least it will clear the situation there is no doubt the two options for Scotland are Independence or PermaTory rule. The choice is staying in the UK or wrecking the Scottish economy by going with independence. On the subject of party politics, PermaTory rule is fine by me. Isle Of Bute Saint
I'm no Tory but you have to admire what Ruth Davidson has done for the Tory party in Scotland, she has brought them back from the brink of oblivion.

mcdowell76
Tories had 1 councillor in Renfrewshire before last night. They now have 4... with 4 wards still to declare. Great news!
Isle Of Bute Saint
Don't know if anyone else did not vote but I'm sure when it comes around to the national election numbers will be well up. Reason I did not vote is had no idea what local councilors stood for.

Politics is about policies and we know the Scottish Tories are a one policy party as much as the Nationalists. What walks are you going to this summer Cap'n? mcdowell76
Independence would lead to austerity and cuts for the poor on an unprecedented level. Voting SNP would be like turkeys voting for Xmas with regards to Feegie and Shettleston!
