Indeed, I thought Friday's match at Tannadice would be televised live and I was looking forward to it.

I didn't realise it was only on Friday because Dundee are at home on Saturday.

Meaningless Aberdeen v Celtic is live on BT on Friday night.

Why is United / Morton important to us?

It isn't but at least it's a game with meaning. Why show an utterly meaningless SPL game, in which the latest group of Celtic youths will play. The commentators will drool over them, claiming some 16 year old is the new Messi etc. Boring

Probably because they are pretty sure that there are more Tic and Dons fans tuning in rather than the 2 worst teams in Dundee and Renfrewshire with respect :headbang

But I take your point. I am just being an Oaksoft

It was important to me as Friday night entertainment.

I would have finished work at 7ish, ordered a Chinese meal, had a bottle of diet coke and sat down to hopefully watch an exciting football match.

I love Scottish Football and all 40 Clubs involved.

Hee haw to do with us, unless Jack fancies any of the players.

After the last 3 months I don't know if my heart can take much more excitement. Plus don't like either team and hope Bairns go up. United are a spent force. Ton don't really want to go up, they would need to actually spend money on that shithole

No reason to dislike any of the other 39 SPFL Clubs.

Generally, all their fans are football supporters, just like us.

They love the beautiful game.

Wouldn't grudge the soapdodgers a seat at the big table, but they are more use to us in our league.

I'm surprised the arse fell out of Morton's season. It's May... it's normally Christmas when the arse falls out of their season.
