Guest TPAFKATS
Reading that "Man of the people" Nigel Farage was involved in a car crash. His chauffeur driven range rover collided with a car whose passengers included a 13 month old baby.Seems Farage got out, took his bag from the boot and walked away without bothering to check on the condition of those in the other vehicle. Expect some really bad stories about Farage, he is a serious threat I hope in England they dominate , they sure wont in Scotland so just adds to the split

Wendy Saintss
1) You claim they steal money from the poor. Which party and government was it who decided to cover the cost of bedroom tax in Scotland after the UK government implemented it? Which part of the UK has just voted to increase carers allowance by £460? Surely can’t be the big, mean, close to majority SNP government? 2) Over 190 countries in the world are independent. Scotland has more resources and exports than a large number of those. Why would the Scottish economy be f**ked after independence? 3) Most countries suffer from some form of racism and xenophobia. Scotland is certainly nowhere near as bad as England in this regard. If it was, the open arms SNP would be nowhere near power. Scotland’s biggest problem is sectarianism, and we know how much of that is linked to two football teams in Glasgow. 1) what relevance is that? Cos the Tories are bad then that makes it ok for the SNP? 2) I was being ironic. Why would the UK be fcuked after Brexit? The SNP can’t have this argument both ways! 3) Scotland still hasn’t got to grips with Irish immigration from over a century ago yet we look down on the English cos they have a problem with Eastern European immigration! And the SNP are all about hating the English! Scotland is a nasty, racist, xenophobic country!

Bud the Baker
The Norwegian Blue of British politics, the Labour/Tory Brexit negotiations are no more! They have ceased to be! They've expired and gone to meet their maker! They're stiff, bereft of life, They rest in peace! They're pushing up the daisies, are now 'istory, off the twig, kicked the bucket, shuffled off this mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleedin' choir invisible!! They are now officially ex-negotiations!

For all other elections there are numerous options which will always dilute the vote. You know that though. I can't remember what the Tories got in comparison with Brexit? Can you remind us? Bud the Baker
Less than 24 hours after May's speech and her "new" plan Gove is talking ambiguously about whether this amendments announced (MV4?) will be put before parliament and also declaring his "huge admiration" for Boris Johnson who may or may not remember his last leadership bid being derailed by Gove three years ago. So anyone voting for him deserve everything they get and hope their families don't suffer because they haven't enough money for any treatment. Yeah the prospect of living in a country run by the neoliberal wing of the Tory/Brexit parties is frightening - AusterityPlus. The recent UN report on poverty in the UK show that May's Downing St. remarks when she took office 3 years ago were just empty rhetoric. Whatever happens - the UK in or out of the EU, Scotland independent or remaining within the UK - anyone who cares for progressive politics has got to get out and vote for parties that will reduce inequality within the country. oaksoft
If she goes and Boris gets in (or some other Brexiteer) we'll be facing a choice at a general election of two hardcore extreme left and right Prime Ministers for the first time since the 80's. Doakes
Politics really is becoming very polarised. The left seem to think anyone who disagrees with their position is a nazi and deserves to be covered in milkshake The right seem to think that the root cause of every problem is a religion called Islam and people being "snowflakes" Is there no one else that thinks it's all f**king stupid? Concentrating on the wrong shit if we really want to improve our quality of living
