Wendy Saintss
..............and yet you're the guy who said (quite correctly) that the middle classes have nothing to fear from the SNP. No I didn’t! I said that the SNP have implemented right wing policies, stealing money from the poor to bribe the middle classes to win their votes. But as the economy would be fcuked if we became independent, then the middle classes would have everything to fear! Unlike nationalism down south (UKIP) the Scottish variety is inclusive, indeed I doubt if their is a minority that Nicola Sturgeon hasn't made a play for! Yeh, cos Scotland is such a tolerant nation, unlike down south. We have no problem with immigrants in this country! er, except that still haven’t even come to terms with large scale immigration from Ireland and even have 2 huge football clubs whose business model is to exploit the intolerance of the Scottish nation! Scotland is an intolerant, right wing xenophobic nationalist country!

Scotland is an intolerant, right wing xenophobic nationalist country! 1. This is 2019 not 2014 & Project Fear ain't gonna work again. The real economic danger for Scotland is not unhitching ourselves from the Brexit Fundamentalists down south. Even in that case I see the SNP remaining (sic) 1% less austere than the Tories. 2. We may have bigots in the country but the SNP is not bigoted in the way UKIP & the EDL are. As for religious intolerance it was the SNP who brought in a law designed to tackle it and it was the other parties who revoked it when we lost our overall majority at Holyrood. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-scotland-politics-43405134 Nice to see you agreeing with Neil Lennon Cap'n! Scotland is an intolerant, right wing xenophobic nationalist country! 1) You claim they steal money from the poor. Which party and government was it who decided to cover the cost of bedroom tax in Scotland after the UK government implemented it? Which part of the UK has just voted to increase carers allowance by £460? Surely can’t be the big, mean, close to majority SNP government? 2) Over 190 countries in the world are independent. Scotland has more resources and exports than a large number of those. Why would the Scottish economy be f**ked after independence? 3) Most countries suffer from some form of racism and xenophobia. Scotland is certainly nowhere near as bad as England in this regard. If it was, the open arms SNP would be nowhere near power. Scotland’s biggest problem is sectarianism, and we know how much of that is linked to two football teams in Glasgow.

Bud the Baker
Just keeps on getting worse! Quote Downing Street confirms next Queen's speech being held up The last Queen’s speech, setting out the government’s legislative agenda, was in June 2017 which meant a new Queen’s speech had been due this summer. Passing a Queen’s speech is a minimum constitutional requirement of a viable government. Cabinet sources admit that the bill that implements Brexit is the last significant piece of legislation in the locker. Mrs May dare not introduce it, however, as she fears that it will be rejected by MPs, forcing her to end the session. Instead, Downing Street has drawn up a list of relatively benign legislation to justify extending the session beyond the original two-year deadline due in June. It includes bills to change the tax treatment of sporting testimonials and increase the maximum sentences for cases of animal cruelty. Others under consideration in No 10 include measures to address domestic abuse and increase tenants’ rights. To be fair increasing tennants' rights would be welcome news but it does mean my chicken shagging days may be coming to an end - curse you Nigel Farage! whydowebother
It was local election night last night in England I chose like an unprecedented number of people to spoil my ballot paperThis however does NOT even remotely come close to the message we as voters are ready to send out out at the upcoming election in May & the next general election They haven’t as yet respected the ‘vote’ of 17.4m voters , but they will. They will.

Bud the Baker
Less than three weeks to the potential Euro elections! Thursday's local elections down south (& in NI) don't seem to have changed much - both May & Corbyn have basically reacted by saying "People want a deal done - my deal". The clock is ticking on May's leadership but I also think it's ticking for Corbyn now - Jess Phillips anyone? It was a good night for the LibDem's & the Greens but I reckon UKIP will have a better night on the 23rd if the aforementioned Euros go ahead - I know it's a waste of time but please, please, please M&C get something sorted! beyond our ken
UKIP vote shrinks, as does conservative and labour, but TM thinks this is a sign that the voters want a faster Brexit process. Now she is in trouble in the negotiations with Labour, so she tries to provoke a walk-out-that won't work though and the talks will drag on with no conclusion Then, I guess, it's back to a last-second attempt to re-revive the deal that never really was. (again).
guinness
As both labour and Tories are in the shit they will cobble together any old deal to force this through. Neither gives a shit about the country only their parties. Have an election after they have f**ked the country and see who wins.neither could give a shit. All about own agenda. Quote Lidington confirms European elections definitely going ahead The Press Association has just snapped this. European parliament elections will go ahead in the UK on May 23, after the government determined that there is not enough time left to complete the ratification of Brexit before that date, Cabinet Office minister David Lidington has said.
