We were well beaten but a word of praise for our goalie who was excellent . Didn't see the first goal but he had no chance with the others and made some very good saves including an excellent double save in the second half.

Why are more of the fringe first team players not featuring for the under-20s? Would have thought these games were the ideal chance to ensure the likes of Sutton, MacKenzie, Stewart, Hill etc were getting some game time to ensure they're match fit if they're required. Having a few of the experienced heads in would surely help the youngsters too.

Also surprised Hippolyte wasn't involved at all last night seeing as he's barely played for the last few months due to injury.

Your are right in all the names apart from MacKenzie who I wouldn't risk due to his fragile nature. Maybe the manager feels they are all fit enough and don't want to risk any of them getting injured for the run in  It does seem strange mind you.

Only caught the second half. Was a bit miserable. Sutton and Hippo played up front and both looked disinterested in what were admittedly poor conditions. Highlights for us were Robbie Leach, Garry Irvine, Connor O'keefe and Nathan Erhahon.  (No team sheet so I'm guessing that's who they were)

Should have been a pumping as they missed chance after chance in the first half

A cracking goal by Hippo

Best player was Erhahon who bossed the middle of the park

Big Sutts looked a yard off the pace and missed a few chances

A decent display pity it was fecking baltic as most people shot the craw at half time

Was that instead of " Bung a Baw at Panda " ?

Just watched the highlights of the first half and bloody hell how did that only end up 1-0?  Looked like the game was played exclusively in Thistle's half of the pitch. Well done.

Hippo looked very good some wonderful touches then a peach of a goal. The black guy at the back is that the lad who came from Hamilton ? Irvine looked good also.
