bender rodriguez
Excellent result! I thought we would only get a point today . If we get 3 pts at falkirk next week it will be absolutely jumping at smp on the 28th

Bud the Baker
Good to see Sutton getting on and then scoring - it's a squad game these days and we're gonna need guys like Sutton & Hilson to chip with goals if we're gonna maintain our current position. All in all (league & cups) a good first quarter.

Luther G. Presley
First things first top of the championship after the first quarter of games, thank f**k we have Jack Ross in charge than that f**king ginger mumbling c**t who played for Morton who obviously hates us and can't get it into his ginger skull that we were by far the better team today and totally deserved that fine victory. Or alternatively he is the manager of a team that just lost 2-0 at home and he is telling the home support what they want to hear? It might only be a game bud but to him it's what pays his mortgage, best not take any of it at face value. stlucifer
Life got in the way of the forum so a wee bit late in posting. It's a fantastic turnaround under the management team's tenure, emphasised by the fact we have went to a stadium where we, let's face it, have been shockingly bad and had a great result with no real drama involved. Everyone did their job and it was good to see Sutton making an impact. Hope it pushes JR to use him a little more often. I was hoping for a less traumatic season after the failures, post DL, but I'll take this kind of drama all day long.
southsidebud
What a first quarter to the season. Not only are we competitive for top 4, we are setting the standard in the Championship race. What a difference from the turn of the year. Happy Days! JM1
Surprised at some folk saying McGinn wasn't good. I thought he was our best player. Completely dominated the midfield. Great to see big John coming on and scoring. Thought he looked well up for it as soon as he came on.
santaponsasaint
Good result without playing very well. Thought mcshane was better today though mcginn was poor. Lewis had another day off. Sutton scored with an incredible header. I have rarely seen a centre jump so high.overall that will do Lewis and Liam 3rd game in 10 days think we can let them off with one. Ayrshire Saints
An acid test passed against a team we have struggled against for years in a stadium we never win at, fantastic result. A dream opening quarter, keep this up Saints starting next week against a surprise struggler, the type of team we need to be at least not losing to away from home if we want to be champions. Special wee mention to Dumbarton tv, that was a really nice, tightly edited highlights package.
