Dundee United V St Mirren

Might be a wee bit more interesting if they have a new manager in for this one. .

l still can't see us getting anything less than a draw , so l reckon we will horse them 1-2 with us getting a controversial winner in the last 7 minutes followed by them getting a player sent off right after it and their new manager being sent to the stand . .

From Utd Website.

The match officials for Saturday's Dundee Utd, Ladbrokes Championship home fixture versus St Mirren have been confirmed as:

REFEREE: GREG AITKEN
ASSISTANT REFEREE 1: SEAN CARR
ASSISTANT REFEREE 2 : ROSS HASWELL

Next up for United is a home fixture versus league leaders St Mirren this Saturday at 3pm.

The Buddies lead an increasingly tight Ladbrokes Championship and sit three points ahead of the fourth placed tangerines going into this one.

The last outing for St Mirren was a home Renfrewshire derby draw with Morton. A ding-dong second period bringing four goals shared.

The Tangerines secured three points in a visit to Dumbarton with Sam Stanton's early double setting the tone for a composed and controlled performance under the guidance of Laurie Ellis.

In the previous meeting between the teams, United produced one of their poorest performances of the season against a rampant St Mirren who won by three goals to nil.

Aye, since the defeat by Raith we've won 1 and drawn 2, not a disaster but not great.

Drawing against Falkirk and Morton has been 4 points that could cost us dear at the end of the season.

Last thing we need is a defeat tomorrow.
