gc_SMFC
Back in Glasgow for a change so my first game since the away tie against Dumbarton. Feels like a trap game, its probably going to be a lot closer than we all hope. However I think we've got enough magic to get a win by one goal. Hendo
Just need to close down Kyle Hutton every time he gets the ball. Not because he's any good, but because he'll panic and fall over if we do.

We really do have an awful record against a club much smaller than ourselves. Boghead was often a place of nightmares for us mind you. Lord Pityme
I would expect us now to deal effectively with Dumbarton. We have too much movement, too many footballers who love playing in amongst them, for them to keep us out. 4-0 or 4-1 home win. Get a tenner on each and you'll have a guid Saturday night. Drew
Someone is due a doing. I reckon tomorrow might be the day despite Dumbarton's stuffy approach. If we can make space in the middle and utilise the wings as we done in the 2nd half in particular on Tuesday night, I can see us knocking a few past them. 4-0, Saints. Stuffy - so what. We need to be ruthless against teams sitting 7th - especially when we have the best home record in the league and their away record is crap... I think J & J will egg on a few of the guys to hit the target from any opportunity and we will try long-range, crosses and corners for headers, 1, 2s and every other trick in the book. Bottom line is 3 points to keep every saints fan happy and take a win bonus - then the chance for a number of guys to add to their goal and/or clean sheet tally. We really stood up to Livingstone and did not get flustered even when we were a goal behind - Dumbarton are no where near as good as them.. COYS - sent out a very clear message - Catch us if you can...
the barrhead teacher
Would love to see us really set a marker and stuff a team like the sons but any win will suffice to keep up this momentum

Potential banana skiin! Dumbarton are well organised and work hard. Stop them from scoring and I think we would win. Another prediction that takes a real risk on the outcome. munoz
Although I think we'll win tomorrow, I don't see it being easy. I think Dumbarton are undefeated in 5 games , and they don't seem to lose by too many goals in the games they do lose . A hopeful 3-1 Saints . For the record, I agree that it won't be easy, but I think we have more than enough to convincingly defeat Dumbarton. Whilst the likes of Aitken might have previously sussed out how to approach games against us, I reckon we can now, in turn, adapt to counteract that. We have the manager, and we have the players. If you look back at the 50s or 60s all dates are jan 30th or something like that.
East Lothian Saint
A saints goal fest would be fantastic but I'll settle for 3 points. On my way on the train. Few beers. 3 points, the two dungs draw and we increase our lead at the top. That's the way to get in the festive spirit.
