That makes sense if he's injured and/or injury prone our Sports Scientist will soon be down to his last half dozen or so casualties, so we wouldnt want him being laid off due to his work drying up. Welcome to the treatment table son.

Played 42 games for Livi last season, and has missed the last 6 weeks through injury.

Not like you to be hilariously negative about something the club does...

Done deal!

http://livingstonfc.co.uk/danny-mullen-departs/?platform=hootsuite

Livingston FC regretfully announce that Danny Mullen has agreed to leave the Club on an emergency loan deal to St Mirren until January.

Thereafter he will then be transferred to St Mirren Football Club on a full-time contract.

Livingston FC will receive a five figure transfer fee for Danny, who was free to sign with another club on a pre-contract from 1 January 2018. He had already indicated to the management team that he was looking to move on in the summer.

We would like to go on record thanking Danny for everything he has done for the Club and wish him all the best in his future football career.

Is it Dougie (Ja Veux) Imrie time again?

think he was our last five figure signing?

I don't think so, just about everyone agrees our top priority is to strengthen up front whereas when we signed Imrie we really needed a striker and CH more. The problem with Imrie was once Kenny McLean regained fitness he (Imrie) was no longer a first pick.

This is the first move in what will hopefully become JR's third successful transfer window!

Must also mean we've got money coming in during January.

Really don't get it. what emergency?? But JR hopefully knows best. Good luck Danny.

It's not an emergency - that's just the name given to the short term loan. Could be that Cammy Smith has picked up another knock or could be no emergency at all. Gets him in before we sign him permanenty in January. Great to have with big games against Dunfermline and Utd coming up. Having a new player bursting to impress won't do any harm.

There he is with the St Mirren scarf then.

Don’t think any of us seen that coming, but good news.

Shows where we are as a football club that we can steamroller into one of our rivals and sign their best player for five figures in mid December. Ain’t many clubs around that can do that, never mind Scottish Championship Clubs.

Fair enough. We need a better squad. 1 or 2 injuries and we could struggle so might be a decent signing

Injury to Cammy Smith v Dumbarton showed we needed something else up front. Great to have that now. Livi fans not happy...

Interesting to see the difference in how both clubs are reporting it.

Saints totally reporting it as a short term loan signing and nothing else, whereas Livingston have spilled completely and are reporting the five figure permanent transfer fee etc....

Can't imagine Saints will be massively happy with that but can understand Livingston trying to appease their fans.

Player been out injured since November 4th so I don't expect him to be starting anytime soon.

Rumour has it that the 'injury' is more to do with his heart not being in it. Seemingly desperate to move.

On the face of it, this is a very good signing. Curious circumstances, right enough.

Aye, saw that. Mystery injury before their Scottish Cup game then bumped since then. Looking forward to seeing him in the stripes.
