The Daily Mail reports that songwriters Noddy Holder and Jim Lea will each be benefiting from the £500,000 estimated royalties the song is estimated to have earned this year. 

The Pogues are reported to make around £400,000 every year from their whiskey-soaked ballad The Fairytale of New York.

Mariah Carey is thought to earn royalties of £376,000 every year from her hit All I Want For Christmas Is You, which was announced as the most-streamed Christmas song of all time on Thursday.
