Enthralling first half full of intricate movement and chances. Should have buried them in first half. Queens contributed to the open game. A little disappointed with second half with the odd flash of skill from magennis and Morgan. Few attempts on goal but thoroughly professional performance all round. We're one our way, we're on our way.... Coys

Great 3 points. Superb 1st half looked like we had settled for the points in the 2nd. What a goal from Liam Smith. Harry Davies is the best defender in the league always looks in control and took the pen well too. Queens are just another big bunch of hoofers. But Sammy had to make a few good saves. MOM hard one but Liam Smith for goal.

Easy stuff, aside from a wee spell when it was 1-0 when Samson made some important saves. Weird second half, we weren't as good but there was sod all threat from Queens. Very different to the second halfs of the home games against Dunfermline and Caley Thistle when we were only 1-0 up.

Competent performance all round. Played some neat creative football in first half.

I thought Flynn provided some finesse in midfield and Magennis looked more comfortable playing alongside McGinn in the middle.

Is it still too early to count our chickens?

Naw, let's start............

We need to move now to get Harry to sign a new contract.  Most important player in our squad by some distance.

Livingston v Dunfermline next Saturday in the league while United go to Pittodrie in the cup.

Livi just need to avoid defeat to move into 2nd and set up a top of the table clash with us the following week.

I'd put good money on a Livi win against the Pars.

Think he will only stay if we are in the SPL. to good for the championship.

We're on our way.

Cruise control from the opening minute. Played some superb football today and the game was finished after only 5 mins when Liam scored.

On Sportsound they asked Tam McManus for his match report. Tam never mentioned the game just said that St Mirren were far too good for any opposition in the Championship and no-one can live with our front line with McGinn orchestrating everything and Davis and Baird dominating any forward line.

Tam knows his stuff :)

Struggling to think of a better 45mins this season than the first half today.
Samson had 4 great saves in a row, however it would still only have amounted to one goal.
We could've and probably should've been 4 up at half time.

2nd half was a bit of an anti climax apart from my mate crapping himself as he had Davis last goalscorer [emoji23]

Couple of good saves near end from samson which kinda flattered Queens.

Having shouted shoot at Liam Smith many times this season, delighted he did for that strike today.

WE'RE ON OUR WAY!!!
