From St Mirren WFC on Facebook.

Whether you follow women's football or not, St Mirren WFC's story has been one of ups and downs which can only be admired.
Head Coach, Kate Cooper had a vision when she was invited to start a women's team at St Mirren  in December 2018.
From those initial days of 6 players turning up for training sessions at Seedhill Park, she has managed to make an amazing transformation to a squad of 24 this season.
Cooper's years of experience as a player and on coaching & support staff up to national will ensure the future of women's football at St Mirren is in good hands.

FROM ST MIRREN WFC

In continued support for players, St Mirren WFC, backed by St Mirren FC will wear black shorts instead of the white shorts of the official St Mirren kit. This is to provide confidence and enable players to be comfortable on matchdays when managing their periods.
It is also in support of the SWF's period poverty campaign.
