Drew
Predictable enough, but makes it a bit tighter for folks trying to travel after work, etc. That said, I suspect I'll be beating a path to Tayside for this one.

Ronnie
Top of the league away v mid table strugglers??? Well done BT Sport great decision there just probably reduced the away support by around half.
Doakes
Where's the need to moan? Most folk will still travel - we're probably getting decent money from BT. Glad they're showing it. Now lets pump them
Lord Pityme
Players then playing three games in six days, thats stoopit!

Dunfermline away in September top of the league after 6/7 games of season approx 1400 away fans. Dunfermline away in January top of the league after 22 games of season approx 600 away fans. Apparently no trains depart Dundee after scheduled match finishing time 4 supporters buses at Dunfermline plus 1 extra arranged 33 seater if same situation at Dundee that would mean around 250 fans on Supporters buses would 1000 fans travel up in cars??? Not a chance. Edited January 29, 2018 by Ronnie

Mr Optimistic
Pish!! But the price you pay for being a top team!! Lets just get on with it and get as many through there as possible. Club should certainly put on buses.

Exactly and driving round about rush hour all you need is a minor bump and you've got a problem. Will certainly take hundreds off our support. Perhaps we should all write to the St Mirren SLO and pitch the idea. Do the club make any money direct from this game being on BT Sport or is it just lumped into the overall league prize money? Yep, It was the week after beating Celtic 3-0 at the Piggery, April 1990. 3000 Saints fans made the trip. Dundee scored in the 1st minute then Billy Dodds missed a penalty. Saints scorers were Geordie Shaw and Brian Martin.
dani bongo
Was flying down for this game but hadn't booked anything thankfully. Might fly to Aberdeen and travel down but it looks like a night in Dundee whatever. Probably visit Paisley on the Saturday and catch up with my lunatic cousin[emoji205]

Ronnie
Could the Title be clinched by beating United ? Probably not as United won't be 2nd place by then depends on DAFC & LIVI results.
scottd
It’s the last eight of the Cup that weekend, so United could be playing in that in the unlikely event that they beat Aberdeen.

Not a chance. We had 778 fans in Dunfermline on Friday, 1,400 at the Saturday game. I'm sure if the club and supporters buses run a few extra, we'll still see big numbers at Dundee United. I'll guess we'll take over 1,
Kemp
On the Saturday though I reckon you would be looking at over 2500 for this one. Need to wonder if financially its worth moving these fixtures. Better than the Sunday lunchtime or 5pm nonsense though.
