Interesting ( Boring) Fact 34211167##

St Mirren have lost one game every month since the League /Scottish Cup season started in August.......... Aug 17 to Feb 18 . So last time we lost 2 games in a month  was July in the League Cup............ meaning 7 months in a row we have lost just one game.................. zzzzzzzzzz

Even more boring my first 3 fixtures this season were Partick, Morton & Dunfermline away.

We have to have a whip-round and send you far away.

(Arbroath will do)

Falkirk are hitting form but they have also played a lot more games this year. They have, including Cup, played 13 times winning 8. We have played 9 games winning 6.

So their win percentage this year is 62% ours is 67% .................

DJ.  No argument from me on the stats but outside ourselves Falkirk and Livvi are I guess the form sides. In other words, on current form as tough as they come and we have still to play Falkirk twice. I'm not wetting my pants over it. Happy to leave it to JR and his team.

Can’t believe that would be the case. The club couldn’t possibly be sure all three would be called up and the re-scheduled date was agreed by both clubs.

I hope not Div. Like you I would want to play our strongest team against Falkirk.

Might be bollocks but I heard at the weekend (from someone inside the Club) that since St Mirren asked for a change of date a second request would be refused. We'll have to wait and see.

Even the sfa/spfl couldnt inflict that level of buffonery.... hang on wait a minute!

Hi think given the international call ups are out of all clubs hands the league have to play ball to maintain sporting integ.... nope..hang on again..!

We moved it to an international weekend. Since we knew we would have 2 or 3 players in the Scotland squad how is that not f ing it up ?

Yes fair enough.

Maybe we'll elect to play without the three, we'll wait and see.

The crazy thing is we asked to change this game due to playing Dundee Utd on the Friday after playing on the Saturday

Now we will be playing Sat,Tues and then Saturday again..

Seems to have been a waste of time moving the game concidering the Friday night Utd got called off

Ach well....it is what it is

Personally I think we should play it and if we request a postponement it should be refused.

We KNEW it was an International weekend.

We chanced our arm.

We have been caught out.

Time to prove we have depth in the squad as I believe we have the players to win even without our international trio.

Irvine for Smith

McShane for Magennis

and weve already replaced Morgan

Did we really KNOW it was an international weekend

I think the point being made is that if we didnae then we should have.

Anyway, I’d rather play them with a full strength team. However, I went to the first game of the season. Neither Smith nor Magennis were playing and Morgan didnae score. If memory serves me correctly we skelped them 3-1.

Bring them on. With or without.

Can we now put the Falkirk rearrangement down to smart thinking?

That might be a title clincher under the floodlights..!

of course it could be wrapped up a couple of weeks earlier but five games in 14 days is a tall order for any team.

Fecking shambles, cancel this rearrange that. Do they no realise people make plans to go to these games. Weather is one thing but tactical shenanigans which have backfired and put us in the same position as before are not big or clever.  7 days notice to cancel, then 10 days notice  to cancel the rearranged fixture which everyone reckoned would be cancelled anyway because of the under 21's. What next? The Dundee Utd game gets cancelled again because the players want to watch the ladies game at Greenhill Road. Fecking rubbish.

It's enough to turn you to drink!!!!!
