Guest TPAFKATS
With immediate effect as opposed to end of season as he said back in January. https://stv.tv/amp/1409448-stephen-thompson-resigns-as-dundee-united-chairman/?__twitter_impression=true
linwood buddie
Quite a bit going on behind the scenes down Tannadice way , that directer bought the training ground and renamed it ,you get the feeling all's not well financially. St.Ricky
As we should Know, Regime change is seldom achieved without pain, The Thompson family have bankrolled the club to a huge extent, His sister sold her shares I believe. This would leave him exposed. There are a few wealthy people around United one of whom I believe owns Dens Park. This story has some distance to run. Callum Gilhooley
There is no sense having two clubs in Dundee. They could amalgamated in a similar fashion to ICT. Just take something from both teams and put it together to form a new club name. Take the DUNDEE part from one club and put it with the UNITED part form the other . Job done .[emoji106][emoji460]️
St.Ricky
Dundee intend to build a new 15000 seater stadium at Camperdown just off the Kingsway. Even ground sharing would make sense. There are two different traditions and history in the city clubs. Edited March 3, 2018 by St.Ricky

The Dundee FC Supporters Society, currently with 54 per cent, would still keep almost 30 per cent. Speaking to Record Sport from Austin, Nelms said: “It’s not going to affect the fans. Not one share will be bought from fans. They are still going to have almost 30 per cent of the club. “It’s our intention to buy Dens Park back. Then we’ll allow the fans to buy the stadium to protect the club forever. Looks like all those honeyed words from 2013 have fallen by the wayside.
