pondsman
Thanks for posting this, Shull. Interesting to see an outsider's view of the club. Wonder what he'd have made of the club and ground if he'd attended on an 'ordinary' Saturday.

Cornwall_Saint
Excellent read, nice to read it from an outsider view. My only disagreement is this: It was brilliant the fans were doing a walk and showed that the whole of Paisley was behind the club. I have said it many times over the course of the season but if more fans across Scotland supported their home town team then the game in our country would be so much better. If only this was true. We all know our town is overrun by bigot scum. A town of population 80,000 which can only get 3K/4K at most home games. What we have done is gained fans and popularity through both the much more vocal and active North Bank crew (compared to before I moved) and the Family Stand initiatives. And of course JR's efforts have played a part. Bang on the money there when he says the Scottish game would be so much better if everyone backed their local side. Apart from that a really good read, enjoyed that.

stlucifer
I didn't see the point in starting another thread just for the sake of it so here's the speeches from Saturday for those who missed it.
