With the family stand back in use by season ticket holders, where will we accommodate 3000 Hearts Fans should that number turn up?

Why would that number turn up?

They'll have been told that it's a ticket only match.

I suppose if a few turn up without scarves they'll take home end tickets but they risk being ejected from the ground.

We certainly won't see 1400 ticketless Hearts fans turning up for an all-ticket match where they've sold their entire allocation in advance.

Give it an Fn rest!

This sort of idiot is why I don't frequent this site so often. Continuous abuse and a sense of self importance just because he goes to games. FYI. I go to most games but have the sense to realise that not every Saints' fan is able to do so. I have only popped in here occasionally in recent times and EVERY time I have I have been confronted by at least one attack BY YOU on FS about games he doesn't go to.

It's a pity you can't think of anything constructive or sensible to write about in your sad, lonely existence so have to bait to attract attention.

I think you MIGHT have lost the moral high ground with this post

Probably right but I tend to reply badly to each post. Not hark back to one post or one subject continuously.

ETA. Just noticed it was  the pot that posted there!:D:ph34r:

Thanks for your continued attention.

Try reading through the thread.

Preferably before replying.

Keeping calm is important.

I tend to agree with you. The point was initially raised by another poster that Hearts took that number to Motherwell.

Personally - well behaved fans from other clubs are welcome wherever they sit.

Fans of any club, including our own, on the other hand not so much!

Thanks for answering a post that was meant for Oaky.

No thanks for your continued irrelevance.

For the eight league matches played at SMP this season the average attendance is 5536.

I'd settle for either figure.

To go from 3,000 to 3,600 to 4,457 to 5,536/5,700 in successive seasons is no mean feat.

Having record season ticket sales was also good but (IMO) would have been higher if:

1. We had started selling them earlier.

2. We hadn't had the managerial changes.

3. We offered credit terms from the off.

Clearly prices didn't seem to deter people.

There was also the question of the family stand and accommodating the OF.

Good to see so many people from away teams coming as well as our own fan base turning up in larger numbers.

December might be a tougher month however with 7 games during the month and Christmas coming up.

Some of bigger away supports mean successful away teams.

Nothing to do with us whatsoever.

If Hibs and Hearts carry on with their present form, they won't sellout our North Stand next time.

Add Aberdeen to that List Shull.

4000 plus home fans is pretty good.

Stay up,  make it to the top 6 and this might grow to 5,000 over a couple of seasons.

Then we would really be motoring.

I'd like the board to be more inventive with season tickets.

All newspapers  have it at 5177

As I said earlier W mistakes happen in printing as in other aspects of stats.

Always a minefield.

Incidentally... Our seat utilisation is 69 percent.  5th Highest in the Premiership.

We averaged 5609 in 2006/07 last time we were promoted, admittedly Love St. had a larger capacity but I believe weve sold a record number of Season Tickets this time so I'll be disappointed if it's not above 5000 maybe nudging 5500.

The attendance against Livi was 4347 so the average is almost bound to be above 5000 going into the split - after that it'll be dependant on who we play & the importance of the matches.

Going into the split the average is 5296.
