Aye, what a new manager can do...................well summarised by Top Cat.

Some job Rice has done there. Instant impact.

We were thinking we had done great drawing with Hearts and Aberdeen. In the following weeks Accies have beaten them both

New manager bounce.....................maybe ours will arrive soon.

Not my usual positive self today... bit worried about our line up and lack of our best midfielders being available.

But, Jimmy Dean once said, "I can't change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to reach my destination.

My fear is that we will not grasp this opportunity against the worst team in the League. The magnitude of a defeat for either team today, probably means anyone who gets in front will try to stifle the other to keep a 1 goal difference win. OF course if any team makes multiple errors, the difference in the result could be a whole lot greater.

So here is hoping we are not too hyped up that we have guys sent off or panic into stupid mistakes. I don't mind one little bit if the Dee players do so though.

The goal is to get in front and catch them out for further goals on the break. The points are the first priority, but goal difference, already in our favour, could be built up and be worth an extra point by the last fixture.

The team????                    HLadky       1.      Baird    Popescu   Muzek            P. McGinn  2.    MacPherson   Lyons            Nazon    Jackson

Not sure who 1. or 2. will be depending on who is fit and how Oran wants to line up. IF Flynn is fit he will be 2, IF not possibly MacAllister. If MacKenzie is fit I'd go for him for 1. but Corbu is the other option there. We need our best fighters today.

I'd also leave McAllister on the bench to bring on . . . but I don't pick the team. If MacK plays, I'd let McGinn and Muzek support the midfield and attack but charge them and the rest of the midfield not to get caught up the park and leaving gaping holes.. If we score the first 3 goals in their net, I think we might just win...  :ninja

5 points from 7 games, not great, but it's important they have come in the last 3 games.

Next set of games are

Killie (h) 0 points Aye

St Johnstone (A) 1 point (Could be critical) Wrang in a bad way. :(

Dundee (H) 1 point  Wrang in a good way. :thumbs2

Celtic (H) 0 points Aye

Hamilton (A) 0 points

Then we're into the break....................it's, hopefully, going to be a nail biting finish.

Due to our absolute honking away form I'm changing todays game to 0 points.

Is this how football works?

Spurs, 17/5, Liverpool 10/11 with the draw 13/5.

Got to be goals in this, Liverpool won both league game 2-1.

Decent chance this could be the score tomorrow.

Looking at Spurs progress in this tournament shows they have battled through quite a few games they were less than favourites so shouldn't be written off.

What will they do with Kane, out for 6 weeks, unlikely to start IMO.

Looking forward to this, best club tournament in the world. :thumbs2

Kane plays from the start.

Got to be a boost for Spurs.

Still fancy Liverpool overall, BTTS & Liverpool win.

Liverpool 1-0 Spurs, similar to the Chelsea v Arsenal game, not really producing much although Spurs have been the slightly better team.

Steve McManaman, utter simpleton, trying to explain Liverpool's lacklustre performance...........

"Maybe fatigue setting in with the climate".................................45 minutes for professional football players. :hammer

You're easily pleased, especially after the 2 games against United, that WAS dross.

It's been disappointing, sometimes happens when two teams know each other so well.

Up to the managers to earn their money at half time.

Probably more displaced passes tonight than there was in the 2 playoff games.

Very poor performance, Spurs won't have a better chance as Liverpool were honking.

Still, when they lift the cup the performance in the final will be forgotten.

2 years in the final for Liverpool, quite a dominant force in Europe.

Shows the value of a good keeper, last year the Liverpool keeper gifted goals to Madrid, tonight their goalie saved anything that was close to him.

Shite now there's no football for a couple of months.

Not true.

Womens World Cup starts in a week or so.
