The Sin Bin TV Thread

Heard a lot of positive reviews about The Boys, different angle on the superhero TV series & movies.

Superheroes are often as popular as celebrities, as influential as politicians, and sometimes even as revered as gods. But that's when they're using their powers for good. What happens when the heroes go rogue and start abusing their powers? When it's the powerless against the super powerful, the Boys head out on a heroic quest to expose the truth about the Seven and Vought, the multibillion-dollar conglomerate that manages the superheroes and covers up their dirty secrets. Based on the comic book series of the same name.

Watched the first three episodes, quite different to most "superhero" programmes/movies with swearies and gory scenes. :thumbs2

Finished watching this last night, flippin brilliant.

It's on my list but have got far too much to catch up on just now to watch it. Have heard good things, though.

If you're into this type of story it's brilliant.

Well produced and written with adult/gory themes.

Only 8 episodes, roll on series 2. :thumbs2

The third season takes a more "humorous" direction. Just finished it the other day.

Just started the 2nd series, starting to get fed up, promises much, delivers little, too slow and repetitive, a bit like Bazil.

Might persevere but not sure I'll get to series 3.
