Seriously, the Club should be sucking up any expense. Friendlies are training sessions and nothing more. Have a bucket collection so fans, if they wish, can donate to the cause. There are many who wish to see the new guys in action and see what kind of strategy the new manager employs. I'm sure they will be happy to pay a few bob for the pleasure.
