Bolton game now a 12:30 ko at their request.

Quote

St Mirren’s pre-season friendly against Bolton this Saturday (7th July) has been changed from a 3pm kick-off to a 12:30pm kick-off at the request of our visitors.

Bolton had requested the kick-off time change on behalf of their travelling support and after much thought we have decided to oblige.

Original tickets for this match will be valid while those who have already purchased a ticket but are now unable to make the match can receive a full refund from the St Mirren Ticket Office.

We apologise for any inconvenience this decision may cause.

Looking forward to this one more than the Sunderland game.  Excellent move by Saints to agree to an earlier kick off.  Perhaps we could have provided an opportunity for fans to watch the Sweden v England match on our big screen.......

Obviously the signing window will remain open for a good few weeks yet, but is it just me being a knicker-wetter or does anyone else think that we are incredibly light in first team squad numbers with pre-season friendlies just a few days away ?

Is the juicy carrot of a possible John McGinn windfall working against us ? Is this uncertainty perhaps responsible for our new manager delaying any further signings while our player budget for the season ahead remains unknown ? How long does Stubbs hold his nerve while waiting to find out ?

(apologies for a ridiculously long opening sentence).

Looks like McGinn will be going somewhere now, possibly this is why he's decided to push the unwanted four out the door now.

It won't have a huge impact on the playing budget anyway surely?  Say we received around 600,000 I would hope only a relatively small percentage of that would be immediately going on wages.

I think Mcginn will sold for a lot more than 1.5 million. that was Celtic trying it on. 33% of 3 million would be a nice sum [emoji2]

Sunny day, World Cup, Beers Chilling, BBQ ready - who would even contemplate Scottish football at this time of year !!!

The attendances in these friendlies and League Cup games should remind everyone why the summer football argument needs to be put out its misery once and for all!
