He was sat in the stand for the Spartans game with the other players not in the squad so don’t think he was escorted from the premises

I already said that the story I heard must've been shite as Ulysses was speaking to a player about it !

f**k that. If we go into the Dundee game with this side we'll get murdered. We're f**king losing 6-0.

Can you honestly say we should 'sit and wait to see what happens'.

There is an absolute lack of f**king basic ability there and its seriously worrying. We've regressed massively since May. That's not up for debate. It's a shambles.

I'm working so missing the current games , get your concerns after all your at the games. Im hoping it's all trial and error just now and that the right players are brought in  I live and hope mate.

As someone pointed out, 7 of the starting 11 were inherited by Stubbs.

Minus Lewis Morgan, the squad he was left with was nothing more than an average Championship side.

We also lost Davis and Smith while Magennis has been injured.

And for all the talk of Stubbs’ English non league signings, it was actually Jack Ross that signed one of them. And Paul McGinn isn’t great either!

Apart from talking down the players who won the Championship last season have you got anything balanced to say about the new manager's own signings. * days ago you raved about how they were all better than what we might have signed from other premiership clubs...

Why on earth would you post something like if you thought there was even a chance of it being true?

WTF is wrong with you?

You should already know people, once they make their mind up, will spread as much poison as possible to back up their belief?

WTF is wrong with you?

Hard to believe the team that played so well against Killie struggled against Spartans and then capitulated today.

Yes, it's a friendly, but it's a friendly for Sunderland too, and I assume they were playing around with personnel and tactics too.

You sound like Elvis & Me , Jess

Just watched Stubbs post-match interview. Now he’s “hoping” to get a couple in before the season starts in two weeks.

If he thinks two players will fix this shitfest he’s clearly f**king deluded.

We need a minimum of 4 players, McKenzie and Eckersley back in the side and f**king pray Kyle’s injury isn’t serious.

And didn’t hold back in saying that’s the last we will see of they trialists today he will move on to look elsewhere

Thank f**k. Another few days on trial and we’d have offered them a 2 year deal![emoji23]

Maybe he got injured in training?

He is injury prone after all, hence why he only managed 14 games last season.

If folk think he is the answer to our problems then god help us!

He might however be a better shout than Heaton - £75k fee and a 3 year deal but judged not ready to play against Killie, didn't play well against non-league The Spartans and on the bench again today even though we shipped 6 goals.

I haven’t even passed judgement on any of the signings, let alone raves about them. I hadn’t even seen them play!

I leave it to folk like you to judge players they’ve never seen play!

I’m quite happy to talk down the championship winning side. Without Lewis Morgan they are nowhere near good enough to keep us up.

7 of them started today. If you are happy with that then keep on happy clapping!

Just pointing out that Stubbs’ starting position was not actually that great.

We were effectively a one man team last season. And that man is now away.

His “starting position” was to inherit a title winning side, genuine optimism among the fans and a bond between players and supporters as good as any time in my 40 years supporting Saints. The, experienced, nucleus of that side was still intact.

One man team my arse. The goalie and defence (of which 4 remained) we’re mostly rock solid last year, McGinn was excellent all season, Magennis established himself in both our team and the Sco U21’s, Cammy was our POY and performed consistently when Lewis’s form shaded and let’s not forget Reilly’s goals.

Stubbs has dismantled that team and, most likely, the sense of togetherness in the dressing room.

He’s talked a lot of shite over the last few weeks and needs to start backing some of that up quickly.

I've a way of sorting this out.

We give all the programmes to Shull for nowt and block the entire fiasco from our brains.

This game was what might be described as embarrassing.

Always on your mind.  :byebye

For me, and only me and my opinion, this game should never have taken place. This was an opportunity for a man to strut his ego and say GIRUY St Mirren as I can make so much more now that I got you promoted and a little bit excited.
I wasn’t there today but I travelled up to the championship winning day to hear a man on the microphone speak to an adoring and passionate support saying ‘we are on our way’....... the only person on their way was him and the sheep that followed.
He was a lucky man to have the game changing talent of Lewis Morgan who did much to bring that passion and excitement back to St Mirren. But that lad didn’t profess to be ‘on our way’. He gave his all and appreciated what St Mirren did for him as much as he did for them.
We now have a new manager who now has to take the mantle on of taking this side into the top division of Scottish football but with the added task of maintaining a feel good factor that everyone bought into with the now departed egotistical manager. A manager who, in my view, brought nothing more than Tom Hendrie, Gus MacPherson or Danny Lennon brought to our club.
I’m no advocate of Stubbs but we need to understand that the previous manager used us and the new one has to pick up the pieces. I’m not sure he can but I hope he does.
This game today has done nothing, absolutely nothing for St Mirren Football Club.
