Sammy place is in no danger. Heaton we paid 75.000 grand for. Think we might have been done. Half the 2nd half we played in the dark as for whatever reason the Flood lights were not switched on at half time. Then the tannoy went wonky. All in all not a good night. And if Gary Mackenzie is not better than we saw at center half tonight then were in trouble. Plus Stubbs never got off his seat all night. A couple of the new guys looked out their depth tonight - against Spartans! Dearie me....A pub team. Aye just forget it it's ok. That attitude never worked under a certain Mr Rae. But then neither did Paul McGinn, Jack Baird, Ryan Flynn, Ian McShane or even Cammy Smith who was as bad as I've ever seen him. Everyone was shite tonight. Several players that day also didn't appear to be up to the job and turned out very decent. It's definitely too early to definitively judge any player yet. McGinn gave us some much needed intensity and upped the pace. Think there could be something in a Mullen & Stewart partnership, had plenty of movement and some decent chances. big Cooke reminded me of Allan Russell.
