The Stubbs, Rice and Jackson Appreciation Thread

I'm also hoping and close to believing that this could be the start of something memorable. Each had been managed by top class managers themselves, including Brian Clough in the case of Brian Rice. Each has played at the highest level and The Boss has managed a cup winning team.

I am pleased for our management team tonight.

And very pleased to hear the fans chanting “Alan Stubbs barmy army” at the end.

Tonight the support’s adrenaline flowed onto the park and over our team.

We were more than a twelfth man tonight.

It was quite understandable that many on these pages had doubts (including myself) about the performance against a team who had won many accolades last season under SC.  However, last night, Alan Stubbs emerged from the long shadow of Jack Ross to prove to us all that, despite a squad still under development, he has shown us the beginnings of an exciting time ahead.

Onwards to Tuesday night and the Mighty Spartans. Keep up the level of support guys. Just great to see and hear!

Think it’s black and white army we chant rather than barmy army is it not? If not we should be!
