Win a cupie doll if you've heard of at least 3 of these teams.

Shouldn't be too difficult. Bala Town and Cefn Druids are from the Welsh league so appear on some live score programmes. Birkirkara defeated Hearts in recent years and Trakai sent the fake Saints out last season

In all seriousness I get what you're saying. I've only heard of most of them because unlike 99% of others I follow the qualifying stages

Why do the Hungarian sides have (***) as their nationality?

Blame Div  apparently Hungary's three letter code is also an offensive name for fans of some pretend team who came into existence in 2012. Either that or I just secretly despise Hungarian sides...

Second Legs take place on 17/18/19 July

Hibs look safely through thanks to Stevie Mallan's double and Flo Kamberi's hat-trick. Presuming they don't mess up, they will face Asteras Tripoli next round, who finished 5th in the Greek league. Meanwhile Rangers 2012 have a decent chance of progressing for the first time in Europe. Their potential opposition is still hard to separate as Moldova's Petrocub drew 1-1 with Croatian side Osijek.

Three fixtures today:

First Qualifying Round, Second Leg

Levski (Bul) v Vaduz (Lie) (0-1)

Shkupi (Mkd) v Rangers 2012 (Sco) 0-2

Honved (***) v Rabotnicki (Mkd) 1-2

The three away sides lead going into the second leg. Could be the first time Rangers 2012 progress past a European tie.

Tuesday's First Qualifying Round, Second Leg results:

Levski (Bul) 3-2 Vaduz (Lie)

Aggregate: 3-3 (Vaduz win on away goals)

Shkupi (Mkd) 0-0 Rangers 2012 (Sco)

Rangers 2012 win 2-0 on aggregate

Honved (***) 4-0 Rabotnicki (Mkd)

Honved win 5-2 on aggregate

Levski may well rue a 76th minute penalty miss at 2-2. They got the third goal on 85mins, but the extra 9 mins to chase one goal could have been the difference. Rangers 2012 progress in Europe for the first time and next face a trip to either Moldova to play Petrocub, or Croatia to play Osijek. In a bad day for the Macedonians, Rabotnicki were battered in Hungary as Honved move onto Q2. The Macedonians aren't covering themselves in glory at all ATM, Shkendija are in CL action and took a 5-0 lead to Wales for the Second Leg. They are down 3-0 at half time

I quite like the earlier stages of the competition tbh. Good mix of teams, a fair amount of surprises. Enjoy following the non-bigoted Scottish sides and the Belgian sides as they aim for the groups. Typing out results makes me take notice of what's happened instead of a quick scan where I'd miss things. I get more bored as the competition goes on when the money dictating leagues take control. I didn't grow up in the CWC era and the days when Europe was competitive, qualifiers is about as close as it gets now

Riga v CSKA Sofia ended up 1-1 and went to extra time........which must have been quite tasty.

I've  sussed it out.

There must have been a barney after the pens. Two of the players sent off in the 130th min actually scored in the shoot out.

46 matches today. In a busy period for me right now so updates on here/Champs League/Betfred Cup have been limited/non-existent.

Fixtures I'm following today:

Aberdeen v Burnley

Hibernian v Asteras Tripoli

Osijek v Rangers 2012

Genk v Fola Esch

Very tough one for the Dons, but it would be fantastic to see them beat Burnley and piss off those in England who call the Scots a pub league. Tough for Hibs too but a good first leg could give them a chance. Hoping Osijek defeat the bigots and stop them from making some much needed cash from a European run. Genk are the first Belgian entry this season, taking on Luxembourg's Fola Esch (who played Aberdeen in recent years). Anything but progress will be disappointing here.

I would of watched the Aberdeen game if it was on tv.

I think Aberdeen will beat them over 2 legs.
