🙂 ... its a fair cop

Although to be fair - my initial statement was accurate - it was an assured debut - for whatever reason

I do retract my "Good work Mr Stubbs" comments  however...

He did play well (the whole team did) on his debut.

Another decent looking signing on that first half performance emoji1360.png

Even better in the second. I thought he was a fullback but he looked pretty assured at CH. Maybe that explains why we've signed him and Coulson.

Will hopefully get even better when match fitness kicks in. Good in the air, defending and hopefully attacking set-pieces. Looks like another good signing, at this early stage.

Pleased with Cole as well considering he's only just arrived and we've not even had a pre season game.

Getting this guy on a 2 year deal is terrific business.

These are fantastic.

In hindsight Kilmarnock clearly weren't taking the group stage very seriously

The new guys immediately looked clueless against Queens Park and Spartans and then Kpekewa stumbling about as Sunderland players strolled past him in that 6-0 friendly was where it became clear that Stubbs and Jackson had done us!

I stand by what I said.

1. I Hoped he would make a name for himself at Saints. Would be pretty strange if a fan were to wish a new signing Ill.

2.*He had a very good game against Kilmarnock but so did the rest of the team that day.

Easy to be wise in retrospect Cornwall but you are entitled to your view.

He did make a name for himself here though.

Unfortunately in was in the list of Stubbs’ duds.

Remember being filled with optimism after that Killie game. Also think I remember one of the BT commentators suggesting we should be looking at top 6. How wrong and naive we were.

Lets face it we all felt quite optimistic after that game, and young Cole claimed he was only 60% fit,  got a gut feeling Dunfermline are going to suffer something similar this season and sooner than they think..
