St.Ricky 8,263 Report post Posted July 18, 2018 Did anyone else see the Japanese Fans at the World Cup cleaning up their used food and drinks cartons at the end of games? Great idea to introduce at the Stadium. Just provide bins on the way out for fans to use. Tying in to the seats thread - why not get each of us to wipe the seat down before and after use. It is "our stadium" after all and we should all take a pride in it. Shouldn't we?

Cornwall_Saint 4,025 Report post Posted July 18, 2018 The Japanese set a fantastic example of this at the World Cup. It would be brilliant to see our fans do something similar.

They dont do this sort of thing because they care. They do it because they are indoctrinated from a young age to obey orders. Let's not white knight other people.

I go to the MacRobert Cinema at Stirling University. They have a member of staff who stands at the exit and cinemagoers drop their empty drinks bottles, glasses or whatever. Works well and cuts cleaning time . Edited July 18, 2018 by St.Ricky

They do indeed. This suggestion doesn't demean their input. Just makes the job easier. Causes no problems for spectatprs, costs next to nothing and would enhance our reputation and arguably help maintain the stadium.
